ዓለም አቀፍ ትብብር ለኢትዮጵያውያን መብት (Global Alliance for the Rights of Ethiopians) ቦርድ በኢትዮጵያ ወቅታዊ ሁኔታ ላይ ሃምሌ 3 እና 4፤ 2013 ዓ.ም. የሁለት ቀናት ውይይት ካደረገ በኋላ የሚከተሉትን ግንዛቤዎች ያቀርባል።
- ዓለም አቀፍ ትብብር ለኢትዮጵያውያን መብት (Global Alliance for the Rights of Ethiopians) በአሁኑ ወቅት በኢትዮጵያና በኢትዮጵያውያን ለይ ያንዣበበውን አደጋ በማጤን አስቸኳይ ስብሰባ አድርጎ ግምገማዎችን አካሂዷል።
በመጀመሪያ በቅርቡ የተባበሩት መንግስታት የጸጥታው ምክር ቤት በኅዳሴ ግድብ ጉዳይ ግብፅና ሱዳን ባቀረቡት አቤቱታ መሰረት ውይይት አድርጎ ጉዳዩ በአፍሪካ አንድነት ድርጅት አማካይነት በሚካሄደው የሶስትዮሽ ድርድር ፍትሃዊና ሚዛናዊ መፍትሄ እንዲያገኝ መስማማቱ አግባብ ያለው መሆኑን አምነንበታል። በዚህ ጉዳይ ድርጅታችን የኢትዮጵያ መንግስት፤ በተለይ በአገር ውስጥና በውጭ ያሉ ባለሞያዎችና አገር ወዳድ
ግለሰቦች ያደረጉትን አስተዋጽዖ ያደንቃል። በዚህ ብሄራዊ ተግባር ላይ ያለው መተባበር እንዲቀጥል ምኞታችንን እየገለጽን ህዝባዊው አስተዋጽዖ የግድቡ ስራ ሙሉ በሙሉ እስኪጠናቀቅ ተጠናክሮ እንዲቀጥል እናሳስባለን።
- ድርጅታችን ኢትዮጵያ በቅርቡ ያካሄደችው ብሄራዊ ምርጫ ብዙ ድክመቶችና ተግዳሮቶች ቢገጥሙትም በአብዛኛው በሰላም መካሄዱ የሚመሰገን መሆኑን ይቀበላል። ምርጫ መከናወኑ ብቻ የኢትዮጵያን አንገብጋቢ ችግሮች በዘላቂነት ስለማይፈታ ከምርጫው በኋላ ምን ይደረግ? የሚለውን ጥያቄ አንስተን ከተወያየን በኋላ ኢትዮጵያን ከተከታታይ አደጋ ለመታደግ የሚቻለው፤ የችግሮቹ ዋና ምንጭ የሆነው ሕገ-መንግስቱንና የአስተዳደር መዋቅሩን ለማሻሻል ሲቻል ብቻ ነው ወደሚለው ድምዳሜ መድረሳችንን ለመላው የኢትዮጵያ ሕዝብ ለመግለጽ እንፈልጋለን። ከምርጫው በኋላ የሚቋቋመው መንግስት በዚህ ጉዳይ ላይ ልዩ ትኩረት ሰጥቶ ተቀዳሚ ተግባሩ እንዲያደርገው በአጽንዖት እናሳስባለን።
- ድርጅታችን ኢትዮጵያንና ኢትዮጵያዊነትን ስኬታማ ለማድረግ የሚቻልባቸው እድሎች አሉ፤ የሚለውን አመለካከት ይቀበላል። ይህንን የተቀደሰ ዓላማ ስኬታማ ለማድረግ ግን የመላው የኢትዮጵያ ሕዝብ ባለድርሻዎችና ተወካዮች፤ በተለይ ዜጎቿ፤ የብሄራዊ መግባባት፤ እርቅና ሰላም፤ ውይይትና ምክክር ማካሄድ ይኖርባቸዋል። አገራችንን ከጥቃት ለመታደግ ቅድሚያ የሚሰጠው አገራዊ ውይይትና ስምምነት በኢትዮጵያና በኢትዮጵያዊነት ጥላ ስር እንዲካሄድ ማድረግ እጅግ አንገብጋቢ ጉዳይ ነው። ሂደቱን በሚመለከት ግን አገር ቤትና ውጭ የሚገኙ ኢትዮጵያውያን በፅሞናና በብልሃት የባለሞያዎች ጥበብ ታክሎበት እንዲታቀድና ሁሉን አቀፍ ውይይት እንዲዘጋጅ አደራ እያልን ድርጅታችን ለዚህ የተቀደሰ ሂደት ድርሻውን እንደሚወጣ ቃል ይገባል።
- በመጨረሻም ከላይ የቀረቡት ማሳሰቢያዎች ተገቢውን ትኩረት እንዲያገኙና ለባለድርሻ አካላት ትብብር ውወደ ተግባር እንዲሸጋገሩ በተለይ የማኅበረሰብዓዊ ድርጅቶችና የሕዝብ መገናኛ አውታሮች ቀጣይነት ያለው የሥነ-ዜጋ ቅስቀሳእንዲያደርጉ ጥሪ እናቀርባለን።
ኢትዮጵያ በቆራጥ ዜጎቿ ትብብር አንድነቷንና ሉዓላዊነቷን አስከብራ ለዘላለም ትኑር።
Well, in terms of expressing one’s very generalized ideas and views and wishes , the statement is fine.
But, very unfortunately , in terms of telling about the very horrible politically motivated crimes committed and continued to be so without any credible and long lasting insight in the country , the statement (meglechaw) sounds not only very clumsy but terribly shrewd and cowardice if not badly deceiving to the extent of sympathizing or praising one of the two factions or juntas of EPRDF which controls the palace politics and causing untold sufferings to the very innocent people of Ethiopia .
It is really very embarrassing or disgusting to witness this kind of very terrible political and moral degradation instead of being fortunate enough to witness a truly effective way doing things for the very prevalence and victory of the process of the struggle for the realization of a real democratic Ethiopia !
Let me try to be more specific:
1) it is politically stupid to simply believe that the very issue of the dam (Abay) will be resolved simply because it is decided to be taken over by the AU which by itself directly or indirectly is the collection of politicians who keep their own people under their despotic, autocratic , dictatorial , corrupt, and miserable way of lives . Yes, the western powers supported this case not because they believe that African rulers could bring about a dramatic and equitable way of settlement but because they know very well that this very club of dictatorial and corrupt African ruling elites will never escape their heavy handed influences which is of course self- evidently true. I wish this was not a very bitter reality of African politics , but that is the way it is ! It was good for you guys to tell the truth that whatever the case and whoever wants to intervene, it definitely depends on the very critical and urgent question of bringing about the truly democratic process and system . And that system will never be feasible as long as the very criminal politics gangs of RPRDF , now Prosperity stay in control of the same political set up and operation . Never and never and never !
2) you are talking about the need to rally behind the work of the dam in order to get it done to the end of it ! There is no any Ethiopian with his or her right mind who neither undermines nor oppose this very noble idea and national call ! The challenge is and will be when it comes to the very question of with what kind of internal political system will it be possible to accomplish this noble idea ? How is it and will it be feasible to do so in a political system of three facades that horribly violated and keep violating the very sovereignty of the people to the extent of committing genocide ? Are you telling the people that it is fine or okay to see their innocent sisters, brothers , parents and all innocent compatriots to be victims of inhuman killings and unimaginable sufferings as long as the dam or any other project has to be done ? Really ? Is this what your are preaching for ? Don’t you think that those innocent Ethiopians who have been and continued to be victims of genocide had very powerful and potentially priceless truth within their minds and capability to make miraculous things that could make the country so great in every aspect of life ? Do you really feel it ?
3)) You horribly made your deeply painful way of dealing with the very deadly political system of EPRDF (Prosperity) when you approved that the so called election was done peacefully and with no significant problems . Alas! Yes, the whole rhetoric you are talking about is absolutely invalidated by this very painfully stupid way of political thinking and behavior!! It is really sad not to be wiling and able to get out of the very ugly vicious political and moral cycle for so long and repeatedly !
4) You shamefully if not embarrassingly added that changes including the so called constitution will have to be get done after the so called election and you are telling us that you felt comfortable or happy about it . Really ? Are you talking seriously about the very hard reality of our politics still controlled by the same deadly political ruling elites of the deadly ethnocentric political game ? Is It not stupid or idiotic political thinking or mentality to believe that especially those politicians of Oromuma including those who replaced the political hegemony of their former master, TPLF are and will be wiling and able to touch let alone change the very document that has been produced for the very purpose of getting their dirty and criminal way of securing their livelihood ? I absolutely assure you that they will never and never and never come closer to it leave alone to change it !! That is why I hate to say but I have to say that your statement is embarrassingly stupid or idiotic as far as the very hard political reality on the ground is concerned !!!
5) Your stupidity if not idiocy of political assumption that those guys of EPRDF or Prosperity could be willing and able to make a significant change that could in its turn change the political bsystem that is badly stained with the very blood of innocent Ethiopians took you to the very nonsensical conclusion that there will be a national dialogue and reconciliation conference that could bring about democracy , peace and development . You terribly failed to ask the very challenging question of who is in power and how those cowardice and ruthless ruling elites of ethnocentric politics could become agents of real change without being forced to do so by any peaceful but persistent struggle and to answer that basic question accordingly .
I hate tin say but I have to say that the very concept and value of activism in our political discourse is unfortunately emotion and event – driven , not well- defined and well – kept commitment ! Is this not painfully sad ! I strongly argue it is !
I am very worried and afraid that because of all these and other very stupid way of doing politics and human rights , the people will go through the same if not the worst. experiences of many years to come ! I hope not ! But hope does nothing without action ; but I would like to remain optimistic that things may change for the better as we still have truly patriotic compatriots including Eskindir Nega and his amazing colleagues and supporters !!
Let’s rally behind these and other patriotic Ethiopians if we are serious enough about making our country a truly Democratic country !!!!
