(ዘ-ሐበሻ) በብርጋዲየር ጄነራል ከማል ገልቹ የሚመራው ኦነግ ዓመታዊ ስብሰባውን በሚኒሶታ ጁላይ 7 ቀን 2013 እንደሚያደርግ ለዘ-ሐበሻ በላከው ጋዜጣዊ መግለጫ አስታወቀ። ድርጅቱ ጁላይ 7 በሚያደርገው ሕዝባዊ ስብሰባ ላይ ዘርና ጾታ ሳይለይ ማንኛውም ኢትዮጵያውያን እንዲታደሙ ጋብዟል።
ድርጅቱ በላከው ጋዜጣዊ መግለጫ ላይ የዘንድሮውን ስብሰባ ልዩ የሚያደገውን ምክንያት ሲገልጽ “ይህንን ስብሰባ ካለፉት ልዩ የሚያደርገው ማንኛውንም ኢትዮጵያዊ ወይም ብሔር እና ብሔረሰቦች እንዲሁም ሕጋዊ ከሆኑ ተቃዋሚዎች ጋር በመተባባር የወደፊት የኢትዮጵያን ህልውና እውነተኛ የዲሞክራሲ የሕግ በላይነት የማንኛውም ግለሰብና ድርጅት መብት የሚከበርባት አገር ለመመስረት እንደሆነ ከኦነግ የፖለቲካ ለውጥ መረዳት ይቻላል” ብሏል።
“በዚህ ስብሰባ ላይ የሚገኙ ፡ የሐይማኖት አባቶች ፡ የፖለትካ ድርጅቶች ፡ መካሪ አዛውንቶችና ፡ ታዋቂ ግለሰቦች በወቅታዊ ኢትዮጵያ ጉዳዮች ላይ ለመመካካር በዚሁ ታሪካዊ ጥሪ ላይ ይገኛሉ፡፡” ያለው ኦነግ “ስለዚህ ፡ ማንኛውም ኢትዮጵያዊ ፡ ይህ ጉዳይ ይመለከተኛል የሚል ሁሉ ጁላይ 7 2013 ከቀኑ 1፡00 ፒኤም እንድገኙልን በትህትና እንጋብዛለን። ብሏል።
በብርጋዲየር ጀነራል ከማል ገልቹ የሚመራው ኦነግ ሕዝባዊውን ስብሰባ የሚያደርግበት አድራሻ የሚከተለው ነው።

We should all move to forming a united front. Ethnic based organiation, concerned only on issues of one ethnic group cannot lead the Ethiopian people of 80 different ethnic groups.
Simply copying Tigre people liberation front and forming ethnic organisations is the same as treading on the same failed ideology. Tigre liberation front created ethnic organisations not out of good will but as a tool to divide and rule the population by causing and inciting inter-tribal inter ethnic rivalries and divisions and eventually tribal and ethnic wars.
