ስትራተጂክ ግርዶሺ—ህወሃት ለአራተኛ ጦርነት በመዘጋጅት ላይ ይሆን? ከጀርባ ደጋፊው ማነው

For English speakers, the essence of the video message is that the TPLF, with encouragement from third parties might start a fourth war with the sole intent of reoccuping Wolkait, Tegede, Telemt and Raya by force. Another war will be more devastating than the last one in which hundreds of thousands of innocent Afar, Amhara and Tigreans perished and $26 billion worth of invesemtn lost.

I hope and pray another war will not happen..Ethiopia and the Ethiopian people dsserve peace and stability. Remember 20 million Ethiopians are in desperate need of humanitarian assistance. More than five million are internally dispalced. Ordinary folks are suffering from hypeinflation. Milllions are unemployed. Human insecurity is widespread. Thousands are incarcerated.

Ethiopian National Defense Forces must leave the Amhara region.  ENDF must serve their primary role under the Constitution of defending Ethiopia’s national boundaries, territories and sovereignty.

Gambella is threatened by South Sudanese rebels. Sduan continues to occupy Ethiopain territories. The Oromo Liberation Army Shine continues to murder innocenent civilains in the Oromia region and so on.

Finally, I urge the Biden administratiop to refrain from taking sides, emboldening and enabling TPLF again and again.

It is not in America’s long term security interest to take sides.

The way out of the Ethiopian mess is genuine dialogue and a poltical settlement invovling alll Ethiopian stakeholders. This  is where the African Union, the African Commision, the UN, the EU, the USA and others can play a constructive role.
