በጎንደር ከተማ የተከሰተውን ችግር መሰረት በማድረግ ከሃይማኖት አስተምህሮ በተቃረነ መንገድ ጥላቻን የሚያስፋፉ አካላት ከድርጊታቸው ሊቆጠቡ እንደሚገባ የኢትዮጵያ ሃይማኖት ተቋማት ጉባኤ አሳሰበ።የኢትዮጵያ የሃይማኖት ተቋማት ጉባኤ ከትናንት በስቲያ በጎንደር ከተማ የተከሰተውን ግጭት አስመልክቶ መግለጫ ሰጥቷል።
መግለጫውን የሰጡት የኢትዮጵያ የሃይማኖት ተቋማት ጠቅላይ ጸሃፊ ቀሲስ ታጋይ ታደለ እንደገለጹት፣ የጐንደር ከተማ በሁሉም የሃይማኖት ተቋማት በመቻቻል፣ በመከባበር የሚታወቅ ከተማ ነው። ይሁን እንጂ ሰሞኑን ከሁሉም የሃይማኖት አስተምህሮ ውጭ የሆነ ድርጊት ተፈጥሯል።
የተፈጠረውን ችግር ምክንያት በማድረግ በተለያዩ የማህበራዊ ገጾች ከእምነቱ አስተምህሮ በተቃረነ መንገድ እያራገቡ ለተጨማሪ ጥፋት የሚቀሰቅሱ አካላት ከድርጊታቸው ሊቆጠቡ ይገባል ብለዋል።
የተፈጠረው ችግር ከየትኛውም የሃይማኖት አስተምህሮ ያፈነገጠ በመሆኑ ጉባኤው አውግዟል።
ጠቅላይ ጸሃፊው በመግለጫቸው፣ የተፈጠረውን ችግር የሃይማኖት ግጭት በማስመሰል ሀገር ለማተራመስ በሚሰሩ አካላት ላይ የክልሉ መንግስት የእርምት እርምጃ እንዲወስድም ጉባኤው አሳስቧል።

Well, as matter of the need to reject or condemn any evil- action incited by any evil- minded individual or group of people or any internal or external force is the right thing to do both morally, spiritually and politically ! It is in this context that the above statement is said to be the right thing to do!!
However, one thing is terribly missing . It goes without saying that the root cause of all the horrible situations we keep witnessing day in and day out is the ruling elites of the incurably cancerous political system of ethno-centerism of EPRDF/ Prosperity !! And our religious leaders terribly failed to tell those evil- minded and evil-guided ruling elites to do something that could stop the day to day horror the innocent people are suffering from ! They are not courageous enough to call a spade a spade ( a criminal political system is a criminal political system) and critically stand with the people who are suffering from a very devastating situation of life and dearth within their women country !!! Theses religious leaders do sound hypocritical just like cynical political elites !! I am sorry to say this, but it is what it is !!
Let me sum up by saying that as we’re terribly failed in almost all our political, moral and spiritual ways of lives , the struggle to get back to what is the right thing to do will remain extreme challenging ! And any grouping including religious ones cannot escape from responsibility and accountability in one way or another for not doing something genuine and meaningful for a a long period of time !!!
