ሰዎች በኔ ሓሳብ ሊደሰቱ ወይ ሊናደዱ ይችላሉ፤ መደሰትም መናደድም መብታቸው ነው። እኔ ደግሞ የፈለኩትን የመፃፍ መብት አለኝ። ስለዚህ የኔ አቋም ሌሎች ሰዎች በሚሰጡኝ ምላሽ የተንጠለጠለ አይደለም።
ወደ ጀዋርና ቪድዮው ልመለስ። ቪድዮው ጀዋርና ሌሎች ሰዎች ስለተናገሩት ሓሳብ ቀነጫጭቦ ያቀርባል። በመጀመርያ ቪድዮው ትኩረት አልሰጠሁትም ነበር። በኋላ ስለ ቪድዮው የተፃፉ ነገሮች ሳነብ ግን ትኩረት እንደሚያስፈገው ገባኝ።
ባጠቃላይ ሲታይ የተቀናበረውን ቪድዮ አልወደድኩትም። አንደኛ የተቀመጠው የጀዋር ሓሳብ የተቆራረጠ ነው። ለድምዳሜው የሰጣቸው ማስረጃዎች በትክክል በቪድዮው አልተካተቱም። አንድ ጥሩ የነበረ ሓሳብ ቆራርጠን በማቅረብ ጥላሸት መቀባት ይቻላል። ስለዚህ ጠቅላላው የቀረበ አመክንዮ በተፈለገው መጠን ስላልቀረበ በቪድዮን በቀረቡ የተቀነጫጨቡ ሓሳቦች መገምገም አንችልም።
ሁለተኛ በቪድዮው የቀረበው የተቀነባበረ ሓሳብ ጀዋርን ለመገምገም ያስችለናል ብለን ከተነሳን የተናገረው ነገር የልጁን ስም ለማጥፋት በቂ ምክንያት ይሆናል ወይ? የሰጠው ሓሳብ የራሱ (የግሉ) አስተያየት ነው። ‘ኦሮሞዎች በደል ይደርሳቸው ነበር’ ብሎ ማለት ‘ኢትዮዽያን መጥላቱ’ ያሳያል ወይ? የብሄር ጭቆና መኖሩ ሓሳብ መሰንዘር ‘ኢትዮዽያዊ ስሜት’ እንደሌለው ምክንያት ወይ ማረጋገጫ ሊሆን ይችላል ወይ?
ስለ ኢትዮዽያ ስናወራ ስለኢትዮዽያውያን እየተናገርን ነን። ኢትዮዽያውያን ህዝቦች ናቸው። ህዝቦቹም ኦሮሞዎች፣ አማራዎች፣ ትግራዮች፣ ጉራጌዎች፣ ሶማሊዎች፣ ደቡቦች፣ ጋምቤላዎች፣ ቤኑሻንጉሎች … ወዘተ ናቸው። ‘ጉራጌ ተበደለ’ ሲባል ኢትዮዽያዊ እየተበደለ ነው ማለት ነው። ስለዚህ ጀዋር ‘ኦሮሞች ተበድለዋል’ በማለቱ የተፈጠረ ችግር ምንድነው??? እንኳንም በድሮ ዘመን አሁንም እኮ ‘ጭቆና አለ’ ብለን እየተከራከርን ነን።
ሦስተኛ ጀዋር የሰጠው አስተያየት ጥሩ አይደለም ብለን እንነሳ፤ ታድያ ማድረግ ያለብን ጉዳይ ስም ለማጥፋት መሯሯጥ ሳይሆን አስተያየቱ ስህተት መሆኑ በሓሳብ ማሳመን መቻል ነው። በሰጠው አስተያየት ላይ የሓሳብ ክርክር መክፈት ይቻላል። አስተያየቱ ‘ስህተት’ ስለመሆኑ ማረጋገጥ የምንችል ከሆነ ጀዋርን ለማስተካከል እንዴት ያቅተናል?
አራተኛ አንድ ሰው የተለየ አስተያየት ስለሰጠ ‘የኢትዮዽያ ጠላት’ አድርጎ መፈረጅ መፍትሔ ይሆናል ወይ? ሁሉም ሰው ስለ አንድ ጉዳይ ተመሳሳይ አቋም ይኖረው ዘንድ ግድ አይደለም። የምንታገለው አንድ ዓይነት አስተሳሰብ እንዲኖረን ለማድረግ ሳይሆን እንደየምርጫችን በነፃነት መኖር እንድንችል ነው።

I would like to address some of the issues that you raised. Yes, Jawar has a full right to express his stand on issues that concerns his people. I have mentioned my grievance against my people too.
The main difference is how we present our issues. Some prefer the communist approach of analysis which is based on class struggle & Stalin`s Nationality Questions. In order to justify their approach, they distort reality. Let me present my arguement
The communist approach does not address our burning issues objectively. It is full of lies and propaganda. The objective reality in Ethiopia has been, the struggle between rulers(Emperors, Kings, Derg & Weyane) on one hand and the tax payers on the other. The rulers dd not come from one ethnic group (Weyane is an exception) nor stood for one ethnic group (again Weyane is an exception). They were subjugating people to protect their interest and the few people around them. Their language was tyranny, mass genocide and exploitation. As it is wanton blunder to classify all English speaking people together with the Queen of Britain, please do not put the Amhara people in the same basket with the rulers. There is big difference between Amharic and the Amhara People. Because the official language of the rulers was Amharic did not mean that the Amhara shared power with the ruling groups. For instance, Weyane uses Amharic. Does that make the Amhara ethnic group oppressor. Class analysis as well as Stalin`s Nationality Question theory are designed for dictatorship (proletarian or ala North Korea, China etc.) based on highly distorted reality.
Let us be objective and tell the truth. None of the rulers favored the Amhara ethic group.
Fact 1. Tewodros, Yohanes, Haile Selassie, Derg and Weyane used their state power to massacre, oppress and exploit Gojjam. We know that majority of Gojjamies speak Amharic. It is oxymoron to say that the Gojjamie peasants belong to oppressor nationality. Check history. Very few people in Ethiopia faced atrocities as wanton as the Gojjamies. Same can be said about the other Amhara people.
Fact 2. Scientific evidences (DNA) and objective reality prove that ethnic groups have a lot of things in common than their language differences. Even in languages, you see a lot of common things. Among the Ethiopians, the Oromos and the Amhara have the highest percentage of ethnic inter marriage among themselves and other ethnic groups. Such integration is not a sign of discrimination against one another. Here we are talking about more than twelve million people with Amhara-Oromo ancestry. For heaven sake, the communist ideology is based on differences which are highly exaggerated .
Fact 3. Menelik was a brilliant ruler who used force at the last resort. Check history. All the kingdoms in Ethiopia, that existed before Menelik, used military means to consolidate their powers. Here we are talking about, the Kaffa, Oromo, Welayita, Sidama, Hadya, Kembata, Janjiro, Harari, Somal, Tigre, Gurage, Amhara, Beni-Shangul, Afar etc. I would love to be the first to hate Menelik, based on subjective family feud. That was personal problem between Menelik and my grand father. But the truth is, Menelik was the best that Ethiopia had. His administration was comparable to some of the current western federalism. Do not forget, during his time, there was rampant slavery in USA.
Moving forward, let us stop spreading hatred among the ethnic groups of Ethiopia. Let us talk about unity in diversity with mutual respect. Freedom for all. Power to the people. Let us fight Weyane, its stooges and communist ideologues in all ethnic groups. Let us bring down tyranny once and for all.

Some old class Amhara’s [perhaps descendants of old ruling class] still keep on shouting “shiguten amtu!” to fight with “oromo” and “tigre”-i am not sure if that is for real. They should kow when to say “shiguten amtu!”.
Then you have this Woyane-Tigrians who are inflicted by ethnic cancer of the worst type. Then you have more tolerant Ethiopians who would want to live with all in peace. All the media posts are repleted with salad of all these comments from all these people.
Woyane will stay in power stubborn for a while to be done away only with fight of one or another sort. What is then the problem for the rest of us to ease out our differences and unite against the common enemy woyane? People like Jawar and others should work to fill this gap than trying to add an acid to our ethnic wound inflicted by woyane. I always read Abraha’s comment, and I seem to be agree with his comment most of the time. In terms of where his heart is, no one knows. Only God does.
