ከካይሮ የጦርነትን ከበሮ እየሰማን ነዉ። ዩኒስ ማዮኡን የተባሉ ወግ አጥባቂዉ የእስላማዊ ፓርቲ መሪ፣ በኢትዮጵያ ያሉ ተቃዋሚና የታጠቁ ሃይሎችን ግብጽ መርዳት አለባት። አለበለዚያ የአባይ ግድብን በእኛዉ እጅ ማፍረሱ የግድ ነዉ» ሲሉ ለኢትዮጵያና ለኢትዮጵያ ሕዝብ ያላቸውን ንቀት ገልጸዋል። የአቶ ዩኒስ ፓርቲ በፓርላማ ሃያ አምስት በመቶ መቀመጫ የያዘ ነዉ።

በግብጽ የሚኖሩ ኢትዮጵያዉያን፣ በኢትዮጵያና በሕዝቧ ላይ የተጀመረዉ የማስፈራራት፣ የዛቻና የጥቃት እንቅስቃሴ የመጀመሪያ ሰለባ እየሆኑ ነዉ። ከፍተኛ ድብደባና እንግልት እየደረሰባቸው ሲሆን፣ ከፍርሃት የተነሳም ከቤታቸው ለሥራ፣ ምግብ ለመግዛት ብዙዎች እንደማይወጡ የሚገልጹ ሪፖርቶች እያነበብን ነዉ። ካይሮ ያለዉ የኢትዮጵያ ኤምባሲም ሳይቀር፣ ከአንዳንድ የሙስሊም ወንድማማች አክራሪዎች ጥቃት እንዳይደርስበት በታንክ ተከቧል። ሞርሲ በአባይ ጉዳይ ላይ፣ ሕዝቡ አንድ ሆኖ እንዲንቀሳቀስ ጥሪ ያቀረቡ ሲሆን፣ በቅርቡም ኢትዮጵያን በማዉገዝ ሰላማዊ ሰልፍ በካይሮ ይደረጋል ተብሎ ይጠበቃል።

ይሄ እንግዲህ ግብጾች «የአገራችን ጥቅም ነዉ» የሚሉትን ለማስጠበቅ ያላቸውን ትብብርና አንድነት የሚያሳይ ነዉ። የግብጽም መንግስት የፓርቲን ጥቅም ከማስጠበቅ አልፎ በመሄድ ከተቃዋሚዎች ጋር ሲመካከር አይተናል።

ግብጾች በአባይ ጉዳይ ኢትዮጵያ ላይ ዘምቻ ሲያደርጉ፣ ከኢትዮጵያዉያን ይጠበቅ የነበረዉ ተመሳሳይ እንቅስቃሴ ነበር። አባይ፣ የፖለቲክ ጉዳይ ሳይሆን፣ ኢትዮጵያዉያንን ሁሉ አንድ የሚያደርግ አገራዊ ጉዳይ መሆን ነበረበት። አዲስ አበባ ያለዉን ጨምሮ ሰላማዊ ሰልፎች በግብጽ ኤምባሲዎች ሁሉ መደረግ ነበረባቸው። ግን መሆን የነበረበት አልሆነም። እንደዉም የሚያሳዝነው አንዳንዶቻችን የግብጽ «ቃል አቀባዮች» የመሆን ዝንባሌ እየታየብንም እንደሆነ ነዉ።

ለዚህም በዋናነት ተጠያቂ የማደርገዉ ገዢዉን ፓርቲ ነዉ። ከጅምሩ «የአባይ ጉዳይ የኢሕአዴግ ሳይሆን የኢትዮጵያ ሕዝብ ጉዳይ ይሁን። አባይን የመገደብ ሥራ ዴሞክራሲን ባለመገደብ ይታጀብ። ፕሮጀክቱ በሁሉ ተቃዋሚዎች የተወጣጡ ባለሞያዎች ባሉበት ገለልተኛ ኮሚሽን ይመራ። በአባይና በልማት ስም የሰብአዊ መብት ረገጣ ይቁም። ሕዝቡ ደስ ብሎት እንጂ ተገዶና ታንቆ ገንዘብ እንዲያዋጣ አይደረግ። አባይ የፖለቲካ አጀንዳ አይሁን» እያልን ይኸው የአባይ ግድብ ወሬ ከተነሳ ጊዜ ጀምሮ ስንጮህ ነበር።

ነገር ግን የገዢው ፓርቲ ባለስልጣናት ሕዝቡን እየገፉት፣ እያዋረዱት፣ እያስጨነቁት ሊደግፈው ይገባ የነበረን ፕሮጀክት እንዲቃወመው እያደረጉት ነዉ። «ማር ሲበዛ ይመራል» አሉ አባቶች ሲተርቱ። ደግመዉ ፣ ደጋግመዉ ፣ ጠዋት፣ ማት፣ ሰኞ፣ ማክሰኖ፣ መስክረም ሰኔ፣ «አባይ ፣ አባይ» እያሉ ሕዝቡን አሰለቸቱት። ሕዝቡ ጣፋጭ የነበረው ነገር መረረዉ።

እዚህ ላይ በአባይ ዙሪያ የሚነሱ ተቃዉሞዎች፣ አባይ እንዳይገነባ ከመፈለግ የመነጩ ሳይሆኑ የአገዛዙ ብሶትና ግፍ የወለዳቸው ተቃዉሞዎች መሆናቸውን ቸል ማለት የለብንም። እንደዉም በቅርቡ በሲዘርላንድ የተደረገዉን የቦንድ ግዢ በመቃወም ሰልፍ የወጡ ኢትዮጵያዉያን ያሰሙት ከነበሩት መፈክሮች መካከል ጥቂቶቹን ብንመለከት ፡ «አባይ እንዲገነባ እንፈልጋለን። አባይ በተባባረ ክንዳችን ይገነባል። ከአባይ ግንባት በፊት ግን ዘረኝነት ይገደብ። የመብት ረገጣ ይገደብ» የሚሉትን እናገኛለን።

ግብጾች ምን ለማድረግ እንደሚይስቡ ይኸው አሳዉቀዉናል። የሚያስፈራዉና የሚያሳዝነዉ ግን፣ ግብጽ በኢትዮጵያ ላይ ጥቃት ብትሰነዝር፣ ግብጽን መመከት የምንችልበት አቅም፣ ጉልበትና የሕዝብ ድጋፍ አለመኖሩ ነዉ። ደርግ አምስት መቶ ሺህ ጦር ይዞ የተሸነፈው፣ የሕዝብ ድጋፍ በማጣቱና በሕዝብ በመተፋቱ ነበር። በባድመ ጦርነት ጊዜ ሻእቢያ የተመታዉ፣ የኢሕአደግ ሰራዊት በልጦት ሳይሆን፣ ከኢሕአዴግ ጎን ሕዝቡ በመሰለፉ ነበር። ግብጽ የተባባረዉን የኢትዮጵያዉያን ክንድ መግጠም እንደማትችል እኛም እነርሱም እናወቀዋለን። አዲስ ነገር አይደለም፤ ከዚህ በፊት ሞከረዉ በጉንደትና በጉራ(አሁን ኤርትራ ዉስጥ ያሉ ከተሞች) ተዋርደው ነዉ የተመለሱት።

ያኔ የነበረዉ የሕዝብ አንድነትና መነቃቃት ግን አሁን የለም። ይሄንንም ባለስልጣናቱ እራሳቸው ያዉቁታል። እንደዉም የሕዝብን አንድነት እንተወዉና፣ በኢሕአዴግ ዉስጥ እራሱ አንድነትና መስማማት የለም። በአቶ መለስ ጊዜ የተለያዩ ሃሳቦች ቢሰነዘሩም በመጨረሻ አቶ መለስ ይወስኑ ነበር። አሁን ግን በአስተዳደር ላይ ማነቆ የሆነ፣ የቡድን አመራር ነዉ ያለዉ። ወታደሩን እና ደህንነቱን የሚቆጣጠረው፣ «ከበስተጀርባ ፈላጭ ቆራጭ እርሱ ነዉ» የሚባለዉ ሕወሃት፣ ለአቶ መለስ የቸረዉን ስልጣን ከአቶ ኃይለማርያም ላይ ቀንሶ እንደ አገር መሪ እንዳይንቀሳቀሱ ያደረጋቸው ይመስላል። የቡድን አመራር በሚል ፈሊጥ፣ አቶ ኃይለማርያም በነጻነት ለአገር የሚበጅ ዉሳኔዎችን እንዳያሳልፉ አስሯቸዋል። ደፍሮ ዉሳኔ የሚሰጥ አካል የለም። ባለስልጣናቱ ይፈራራሉ። አንዱ ሌላዉን አያምንም። ታዲያ ይሄ አይነት አመራር ነውን የኢትዮጵያን ሕዝብ አስተባብሮ፣ ከግብጽ የሚመጣን ወታደራዊም ሆነ ዲፕሎማቲክ ጥቃት ለመመከት የሚችለው ?

ተጨማሪ ያንብቡ:  የውጭ ጉዳይ ሚ/ሩ ወርቅነህ ገበየሁን ትግሬነት ያጋለጠው ጋዜጠኛ ክንፉ አሰፋ ተጨማሪ መረጃዎችን ሰጠ - "የኢትዮጵያ ሕዝብ የጠየቀው ቀለም መቀባት አይደለም"

ሜዲያ ጋዜጣ ወዘተረፈ በታፈነበት ሁኔታ፣ በአንድ ድርጅት ብቻ በተጠራ፣ ለሶስት ሳምንታት ብቻ በተደረገ ዝግጅት፣ በመቶ ሺሆች የሚቆጠሩ ኢትዮጵያዉያን ተቃዉሟቸውን ሲያሰሙ አይተናል። ሰልፉም በአገዛዙና በሕዝቡ መካከል ከፍተኛ መቃቃሩ እየጨመረ ለመሆኑን ግልጽ አመላካች ነዉ። « ያኔ በባድመ ጊዜ አንድ እንሁን ፣ የጋራ ጠላታችንን እንዋጋ ሲሉን፣ አብረናቸው ተሰለፍን። ጦርነቱ ሲያልቅ ግን ጦራቸውን በኛ ላይ አዘመቱ። በዉጭ ወራሪዎች ላይ መቀሰር የነበረባቸው የመሳሪያዎች አፈሙዝ እኛ ላይ አነጣጠሩ። ግንባር ግንባራችን እየቀለቡ አረገፉን» እያለ ሕዝቡ በአገዛዙ ላይ ከዉጭ ወራሪዎች ባልተናነሰ ጥላቻ እያደረበት ነዉ።

እንግዲህ የሕዝብን አመለካከት መቀየሩ ቁልፍ ነዉ። ሕዝብን በማንኛዉ አገራዊ አጀንዳ ከጎን ለማሰለፍ ከተፈለገ፣ በቀዳሚነት ሕዝብን ማክበር ያስፈልጋል። ሰልፍ ያደረጉ በመቶ ሺሆች የሚቆጠሩ ኢትዮጵያዉያን በአዲስ አበባ ድምጻቸው ያስተጋቡበትን ታሪካዊ ሰልፍን ብንመለከት፣ አንድም ሰው ሳይጎዳ፣ አንድም ሱቅ ሳይዘረፍ፣ በሰላም የተደረገ፣ የኢትዮጵያዊ ጨዋነት የሰፈነበት ሰልፍ ነበር። ነገር ግን ይሄን ሰልፍ የጥቂት ሽብርተኞችና አክራሪዎች ሰልፍ በማለት አቶ ሬድዋን እና አቶ ሸመልስ ከማል አጣጥለዉታል። ይሄም ኢሕአዴግን እራሱ የሚጎዳዉና ያቀለለ ትልቅ ስህተት ነዉ። እርግጠኛ ነኝ እንደ አቶ ኃይለማርያም ደሳለኝ፣ አቶ ደመቀ መኮንን፣ ዶር ቴዎድርስ አዳኖም ያሉ በሳል የአመራር አባላት፣ የነዚህን ሰዎች አስተያየት አይጋሩም። እንደነዚህ አይነት የእንስሳ አይምሮ ያላቸውን ካድሬዎች ኢሕአዴግ ማባረር አለበት። ኢሕአዴግን ወደ መቃብሩ ይዘዉት የሚሄዱ መዥገሮች ናቸው። «ጥጋብ ክብርን ይራባል፣ የሚያገኘው ግን ዉርደትን ነዉ» እንዳሉት ፕሮፌሰር መስፍን ወልደማሪያም፣ ከጥጋብና ከእልህ ፖለቲካ ተወጥቶ ለአገርና ለሕዝብ የሚጠቅምን ነገር ማድረግ ያስፈልጋል።

ለማጠቃለል ሁለት ነገር ጣል አድርጌ ላቁም፡

አንደኛ፡ በመቶ ሺሆች የሚቆጠሩ ኢትዮጵያዉያን ሰልፍ አድርገው የጠየቁት ጥያቄዎች አለ። በጣም ቀላልና ጠቃሚ ጥያቄዎች ናቸው። ለነርሱም አዎንታዊ መልስ ቢሰጥ መልካም ነዉ እላለሁ። ጥያቄዎችን መመለስ ከምንም በላይ የሚጠቅመው ኢሕአዴግን እራሱ ነዉና።

ተጨማሪ ያንብቡ:  የኛ ነገር፡ ከኔ ማዕዘን፡- በብርሀኑ ተበሳጨሁ፤ በሰማያዊ ተጽናናሁ፡ በአንድነት ደግሞ ተስፋ አደረግሁ (ከተ/ሚካኤል አበበ)

ጋዜጠኖች፣ የፖለቲካ ፓርቲ መሪዎች፣ የሙስሊም ችግር መፍትሄ አፈላላጊ ኮሚቴ አባላት በሙሉ በአስቸኳይ ይፈቱ። የተቃዋሚ ፓርቲዎች ጋር የዲሞክራሲ ተቋማትን ማሻሻል በሚቻልበት ሁኔታ ላይ ቅንነት የሞላበት ድርድር ይደረግ። ለአረቦችና ለሕንዶች የሚሰጠው ለምለም መሬት ባለበት ይቁማና፣ ስምምነቶች በሙሉ እንደገና በገለልተኛ አካል ይጠኑ። እንደ ኤፈርት ያሉ ድርጅቶች ኦዲት ይደረጉ። በወታደር ደሞዝ ፎቅ የሰሩ ጀነራሎች ከየት አምጥተዉ ፎቅ እንደሰሩ ይመርመሩ። «የአሳ ግማቱ ከጭንቅላቱ» እንደተባላ ታች ያሉትን በሙስና ማሰር ሳይሆን፣ ቱባ ቱባ የሚያህሉ፣ ከላይ የተቀመጡ መዝባሪዎችና ደም መጣጮች ይጋለጡ። ሕዝቡ ለአባይ በጉልበት እንዲከፍል የሚደረገዉ በአስቸኳይ ይቁም። በባለሞያተኖች፣ ጠበቃዎች፣ የዲፕሎማሲ ጠበብት ያሉበት የአባይን ግድብ ስራ የሚመራ፣ ገለልተኛ እና በግልጽነት የሚሰራ የአባይ ኮሚሽን ይቋቋም። ይሄ የግንባታዉን ጊዜ ሊያራዝመው ይችላል። ግድ የለም ይራዘም። በጥራትና በጥንቃቄ መሄዱ ይሻላል።( ደግሞም ለአባይ ግድብ የሚያስፈልገዉን ሃይቅ ዉሃ ለመሙላት ሰፊ ጊዜ እንዲኖርም ያደርጋል። ያም ከግብጽ ጋር ያለዉን መቃቃር ሊያበርደው ይችላል፤ ለምን ግብጾች ሃይቁን ለመሙላት በአንድ ጊዜ ብዙ ዉሃ ይወሰድብናል በሚል ያላቸውን ፍርሃት ስለሚቀንስ )በዚህም መልክ አባይን የአገዛዙ ፕሮጀክት ሳይሆን የኢትዮጵያ ሕዝብ ፕሮጀክት ማድረግ ይቻላል።

ሁለተኛ፡ እርግጥ ነዉ ያገዛዙ የግፍ ቀንበር አፍንጫችን ላይ እየደረሰ ነዉ። ነገር ግን አሁን ባሉን የፖለቲካ ልዩነቶች ምክንያት ከታሪካዊ ጠላቶቻችን ጎን መሰለፍ ግን ነዉር ነዉ። ለግብጾች መጠቀሚያ መሆን የለብንም። እርስ በርስ እንጣላ፣ ግን ጠላቶቻችን ፊት አንድ እንሁን። በተለይም ከተቃዋሚ መሪዎችና ከተቃዋሚ ሜዲያዎች፣ በአገራዊ ጉድዮች ላይ ትልቅ ማስተዋልና ሃላፊነት ይጠበቃል። አርቀን ከተራራና ከጊዜዉ ስሜታዊነት ባሻገር ማየት መቻል አለብን። የአገር ጉዳይ የሳይበር ስፔስ ጨዋታ አይደለም። «The Nile is Egypt and Egypt is the Nile» የሚለዉን የአንድ የግሪክ ፈላስፋ አባባል ግብጾች ሲይስተጋቡ እየሰማን ነዉ። እኛም «አባይ አባይ ያገር ሲሳይ» ወይም « The Nile is Ethiopia and Ethiopia is the Nile» እያልን ኢትዮጵያ የአባይን ወንዝ የመጠቀም ሙሉ መብት እንዳላት ማስተጋባት አለብን። ኢትዮጵያዊያን ኢትዮጵያዊን መሆን አለብን።

  6. I absolutelly agree in each and every sentence. The government shall built strong task force that can technically and deplomatically defend Ethiopia’s interest. People like Bereket Semeon can’t fit as we have seen him on Aljazira. We have the upper hand if we use it wisely. Hailemariam D. himself can do better in this regard as he is well informed with the technicality of the dam and integrated water resources management.

    The government shall not use this as a pretext to arrest anyone demanding justice. The oppositions shall make their stand crystal clear to the Egypitians. This is not about blood sucking weyane. We don’t need even to expect weyane to defend our interest. Professionals with the relevant fields (hydrologiests, civil enginers, lawers familiar with international laws, historians…) shall come together, form a comittee and defend Ethiopia’s interest. Weyane, as we know it, has no the capacity and willingness to defend the interest of the nation. They should have use the recent war moungering of Egypt very effectivelly to get wide international support. What all they have to say is ‘day drea’. We need to have another Akllilu Habtewold.

    The government shall seat its ass down and have serious talk with the oppositions and answer the people questions. We fight both weyane and Egypt who are standing against our national interest and basic human right. I feel both Egypt and weyane poleticians are using Abay to divert their domestic public anger.

One more thing, we have very knowledgable water resources professionals who can perfectlly defend the dam technically to name some: Dr Sileshi Bekele, Dr Ababu Teklemariam, Dr Abebe Andaualem Jenbere, Dr Misgana, Dr Alemayehu Habte, Dr Admasu, Dr Solomon Seyoum, Dr Yonas, …many more. The government shall stop using amature engineers like Semegnew. It has to strech its hands to engineers who have done many researchs on Abay and other similar projects. Some of them are teaching and working in South Africa, USA, and Europe. There are many in Ethiopia too.

    Egypt said “The Nile is Egypt and Egypt is Nile” should be corrected as “Egypt is the gift of Nile (Herodotus)”, hence it is practically the gift of Ethiopia.

    As said above try to check your facts and double check before you write down on it. In principle I agree with the whole idea and every Ethiopian does, I think. But i don’t like to be sold out to Weyanne who have firm principle to ultimately distroy Ethiopia if they can no longer plunder it. Do they care for Ethiopian People???

  12. Ato Girma !!it is well said .you have tried your best to share your advice to woyane for quite good number of times . But you seem to have missed the true character of the woyanes . ie they are anti-Ethiopian/s .They have no real Ethiopian agendas as they not consider themselves Ethiopians . Check how many of core woyanes do have foreign passport. Most of them are American citzens and thus you hardly find their families around them. All woyanes in high echelons and generals have already sent their kids and children to USA,China ,etc for higher education with the tax payer money.Thus if the fall out with Egypt assumes serious dimension and Ethiopia enter into war, believe me they will pack and go leaving behind the poor Ethiopians . Woyanes are trigger happy , they know how to make war in order to set a stage for corruption and extend its lease of life. They want the situation to be intense and so are beating war drum to exploit the national feeling for their narrow political end . However we ,as responsible Ethiopians have a duty to defend our country from foreign aggression and with the same breath we keep on fighting the woyane’s genocidal regime because woyane has no moral ground to call upon Ethiopians to defend their country as Tigrean woyanes are sole responsible for a crime in giving away chunk of our lands to Sudan. Unlike the dictator Melese rancid sayings,Abay has got a lot to do for wolayeta , Hadya ,oromos ,Tigres .somalis .Afars .Adres..etc..It is an Ethiopian river for Ethiopians .

  13. Hell no, I don’t want to die to protect Meles’s legacy. We should tell Woyane to answer the people’s demands first before supporting them for war. I agree with this guy’s analysis here gulelepost:-
    Meles led Tigray People Liberation Front (TPLF) waged war against Eritrea over a piece of land that was eventually granted to Eritrea. Close to a hundred thousand people were killed but it benefitted TPLF because it helped them extend their power after ‘winning’ the war (and some support).

    TPLF waged war against Somalia for no other reason than to obtain military and financial support from Bush led USA.

    Meles Zenawi was amongst the first leaders to publicly support the Bush – Blair invasion of Iraq, so that they keep silent when he comes up with bogus ‘antiterrorism’ laws to terrorize innocent masses.

    Meles/TPLF waged internal war against nations and nationalities they ruled over, the number one target being Oromia, followed by Ogaden, Gambella, Sidama(the Awassa massacre) and recently Amhara for no other reason than to extend their rule by force.

    Meles/TPLF’s response was bullets to protests (the Addis Ababa/Finfinne massacre during the 2005 protest, the Asasa and Gerba massacres during the Muslim protest, shooting at elementary and high school students in Oromia … etc) Having witnessed all of these and more in the past two decades, how can anyone support any potential war between TPLF and Egypt (and possibly Sudan and Eritrea)?

    The ‘Renaissance’ dam was no doubt Meles’s grand project to fill his big ego (I kind of think that his grooming of Hailemariam Desalegn, an Engineer, as his successor, among other reasons, was perhaps to have someone with interest to focus on this ‘grand’ project). The problem isn’t why he wanted to leave a ‘grand’ legacy for himself but how risky it was and still is for others. The timing of the project, when Egypt was at its weakest, is highly suspicious. He also knew that his opposition would be divided over the issue (a good byproduct for him) and China is there to finance anything ‘grand’ in Africa.     Currently under an immense political pressure as well as fierce opposition from diaspora over fund raising for the project, TPLF has more to gain from a potential war or tension.     Your article is very good and wise as you said there are a lot of problem needs to answer by woyane thus why all Ethiopian need to build the abay dam but because of hatred of EPRDFthey dont want to support it. I didnt see any one love their mother land more than Ethiopians. as this time some of them they invite Egypt to bombarded Ethiopia.this is morally wrong I disagree with this idea why our poor people,our mothers fathers and brothers, and sisters suffer in the conflict.As this time all of us to stand as a one infront of historical enemy.

I like to say one thing about the former Ethiopian defence forces.the Ethiopian army was defeated not lack of the support of the Ethiopian people.I think the first reason that higly contribued was the unsucessful ginbot 8 coup deta.the second was lack of well educated, qualified and disiplined leadership among the generals.atmost all military generals had disrespect to mengistu haile mariam and to ordinary soliders.they were corrupted.They knew how to defeat the shabia and woyane .but they all used that war the source of income and prestige for themselves.
