ከሰሞኑ መነጋገሪያ እየሆነ የመጣው የግብጽና የኢትዮጵያ በአባይ ጉዳይ እየተሰጣጡ ባለው እሰጥ አገባ ዙሪያ ፕሮፌሰር መስፍን ወ/ማርያም በፌስቡክ ገጻቸው ላይ እንዲህ ብለዋል፦
“ጦርነት እንኳን ገና በልቶ ላልጠገበ ሕዝብና ለጥጋበኞቹም አይመችም፤ የተራበ ሕዝብ በጠገቡ መሪዎች ሲነዳ ግን ጦርነት ለአጉል ጀብደኛነት ዝና የሚጠቅም መስሎ ይታያቸዋል፤ ከኤርትራ ጋር ጦርነት ለመግጠም በሚያሰፈስፉበት ጊዜ በርቱ እያሉ የሚያቅራሩ ሞልተው ነበር፤ ዛሬ አቀራሪዎቹም ሆኑ ጀብደኖቹ በኤርትራ ጦርነት ያለቀባሪ ስለቀሩት ሰዎች፣ ጠዋሪ ስላጡ እናቶችና አባቶች፣ አሳዳጊ ስለሌላቸው ልጆችና አካለ-ጎደሎ ለሆኑት የሚያስብላቸው አለ ወይ? የአቡነ ጴጥሮስ ሐውልት መነሣትና በኢጣልያ የግራዚያኒ ሐውልት እንዳይሠራ የተጠራውን ሰላማዊ ሰልፍ ከልክሎ ለሰልፍ የወጡትን አስሮ ያሳደረ አገዛዝ ለአገራቸው ለሞቱት ኢትዮጵያውያን የሚሰጠውን ዋጋ በመጠኑም ቢሆን ያሳያል፤ ስለዚህም ኢትዮጵያውያን አገራቸውን ሲወዱ ራሳቸው በልጽገው ለልጆቻቸው ብልጽግናን እንዲያወርሱ ሕይወታቸውን ቢጠብቁ ለአገራቸውም ክብር ይሆናሉ፡፡
ለፍቅር መተዋወቅ እንደሚያስፈልግ ሁሉ ለጠብም መተዋወቅ ያስፈልጋል፤ የተሟላ መረጃ ቢኖረን የጥንት ታሪክ እየጠቀስን ሰዎችን ለጦርነት እንቀሰቅስም ነበር ብዬ አምናለሁ፤ ስለዚህም አንዳንድ አስፈላጊ መረጃዎችን ላቅርብ፤ —
1. የግብጽ የጦር ኃይል በዓለም አሥረኛ ነው፣ በአፍሪካና በመሀከለኛው ምሥራቅ የሚወዳደረው የለም፤ አንድ ሚልዮን ተኩል ያህል የጦር ኃይል አለው፤ በዓየር ኃይልም ከዓለም አሥራ አራተኛ ነው፤ በታንክ ብዛት አራተኛ ነው፤ በባሕር ኃይል ሰባተኛ ነው፤ በጦር በጀት አርባ ሦስተኛ ነው፤
2. በኢትዮጵያ ዙሪያ ጂቡቲ፣ ሶማልያ፣ ሱዳን የአረብ ማኅበር አባሎች በመሆናቸው ለግብጽ ማኅበረተኞች ናቸው፤ በወያኔ ፈቃድ የተገፋችው ኤርትራም የዚሁ ማኅበር ታዛቢ አባል ነች፤ ከቀይ ባሕር ማዶ ያሉት አገሮች ሁሉ ሀብታሙንና ኃይለኛውን ሳኡዲ አረብያንም ጨምሮ የግብጽ ማኅበርተኞች ናቸው፤ በዚህ ሁሉ መሀከል የተከታተፈች ኢትዮጵያ ብቻዋን ነች፤
3. የቤንዚን ሀብትና ከሀብቱም ጋር የሚገኘውን ወዳጅና ጡንቻ አንርሳ፤
ይህ ማስታወሻ ለማስፈራራት አይደለም፤ ማስፈራራትን አላውቅበትም፤ እንዲያውም የዩኒቨርሲቲ ተማሪዎችን ‹‹አትፍሩ›› ብሏቸዋል ተብዬ ተከስሼ ታስሬአለሁ፤ ስለዚህ አላስፈራራም፤ ጦርነት ከመጣብን ልናስቀረው እንሞክር፤ ሌላው ቢቀር እንድንዘጋጅ ጊዜ እናገኛለን፤ ገፍቶ ከመጣ ግን እንቋቋመዋለን፤ ለጦርነት አንቸኩል፤ ለኤርትራም ጊዜ ተናግሬ ነበር፤ የሰማኝ የለም፤ ጥጋብ ላይ ያሉ የሚርባቸው ዝና ነው፤ የሚያገኙት ግን ውርደትን ነው፡፡”

If you ask one of the military generals who originated from Dedebit.they will never give you an approprate military analysis about the Egyptian military capacity and level in Africa and in the world.At this level our military capacity has no power to defend and even to resist the Egyptian Army.

Tinsay, you have right to support TPLF,but do not forget 90% of Ethiopian people are poor. they do not have right to eat and happy their own country. did you remember the war between Ethiopia and Eritera. Did you forgot what happened to Egypt on the 6th day & 17th day war with israel which they had many fold power & surrounded by other Arab country support. Please don’t try to scare us. I appreciate Professor. Our ancestors knew how they dealt with our enemies and surely, they proud us. However, our current leaders are either they play the war game without any concern to the consequences or their intention is to repeat the same mistake as they did before during the Ethio-Eritria war. we couldn’t repeate our fathers proud history. I am sure every one knows what we got out that war, no one denies that we are completely defeated by that war. We don’t have to rush to war, we don’t have to be emotional, we have to think the consequences before we start. Think what we could do if we used the money, time, man power and moral we lost during that war for development. 100% we don’t win if we fight against Egyptians , and so do the Egyptians because there is winner in such wars. And we have contemplate when can the war will be ended???? do you think that the war is a one time one, one year, two year, five year….???? It will be an everlasting war, no negotiation at all.
For some guys, the war is like fighting against rebels or shaibia or against Italy. we have to clearly know the rationals behind why Egyptians will decide to fight or on what bases are going to this war. Do you think that Ethiopian people or the country will be benefited from the war? Can countries like Ethiopia go forward or develop an inch if we are engaged such an endless war? Don’t forget how USA faced an economic, Human and moral buncruptcies the faced and how its politicians are deeply regretted about the war in Afganistan and Iraq.

as we know the historical enemity between Ethiopia and Egypt.Egypt had been participated in the war by sending her mine experts to support the Eritrean government.when the war broke out between Ethiopia and eritrea.At most in all battle fields ,the eritrean troops had surrendered with in three days battle.they were defeated at Badme ,shiraro and zala Anbasa.of course,the number of causualities in the war was enourmous on both sides .I remembered that fear of the Ethiopian army at the end of the war. the Egyptian had bought (I think 14) fighter jets(f14 or f16) from the usa ..and do not for get the u.s.a every year donating two billion dollar aid to Egypt.our main target should be removing woyane from power at all cost.then built strong and powerful national Army that defended effeciently the country national interest from Egypt and others.That is the only way to get out off from such crisis.
Nobody in ethiopia want to go to war, but what can you do if you are forced? Either you run away or stay and resist the agression. It has little to do with our famous femine. The wests said in 1998 two bolds are struggling for a comp which means exatly two poor contries waged a war for nothing, a war for nothing. The answer from the ethiopian side was even the poors have the right to defend their integrity. Ethiopia was in disadvantage.
At all it is a good advise, but a list of military capability place egypt at 14. and ethiopia at 28. out of 68 registerd contries. GB 4. and Italy 10. place. In 1998 the power comparision b/n Ethiopia and Eritrea were worse than this one. When you come to adwa and machew, even the 1977 of somali invasion there is nothing to compare, but the ethiopians at last have the victorie, because ethiopians are always with the truth in heart and mind. The same will hapen with egypt, if it forced us ethiopian to drag in war.
