  1. በጣም ብዙ ጠቃሚና አዳዲስ ታሪኮችን የያዘ፣ ከብሄር ፖለቲካ ጋር በተያያዘ በሀገራችን ያለውን ብዥታ ሊያስወግድ የሚችል ፅሁፍ ነው። በበኩሌ ዛሬ እትዮጲያን እያመሳትና ህልውናዋን እየተፈታተናት የሚገኘውን ከብሄር ጋር የተያያዘ ውዥንብር የፈጠሩት ሀገሪቱን ቅኝ የመግዛት ህልም ያላቸው አውሮፓውያን ናቸው። በተለይ አማራውን በገዢ መደብነት የሚፈርጁትን በተመለከተ ጥሩ አድርገው መልስ ሰጥተዋል። ይህን ካልኩ በኃላ ሁለት ጥያቄዎችን ለማንሳት እወዳለሁ።
    ፩ ብዙ ከዚህ በፊት ተሰምተው የማያውቁ የሰዉን አመለካከት ሊለውጡ የሚችሉ ኹነቶችን ስላነሱ ስለነዚህ ኹነቶች ያለንን ግንዛቤ ለመዳበር ልናነባቸው የሚገቡንን መፅሀፍት ሊጠቁሙን ይችላሉ? ፪ የፊደል አጠቃቃምን በተመለከተ የኦሮምኛ ቋንቋ አዋቂዎች ሲናገሩ የሰማሁትና ያነበብኩት የአማርኛ/ግዕዝ ፊደሎች ለኦሮምኛ ቋንቋ እንደማያመቹ ነው። ለምሳሌ ‘dh’ የሚለውን ፊደል ለመፃፍ አያመችም። እንዲሁም 7ቱ አናባቢዎች ለኦሮምኛ በቂ አለመሆናቸውን ይጠቅሳሉ። አርሶ ቋንቋውን የሚያውቁ ከሆነ በነዚህ ነጥቦች ላይ ማብራሪያ ለመስጠት ይችላሉ?

  3. Waw! I drank this article like a milk. Born as an Amara in Addis from an Oromo Family, I just cannot help to express how sweat this article is? The article is a big love like the name of the author. It is very rare to get such personalities in Ethiopia and the likes of Robele Ababya, Jawad Ibrahim and Dr. Marara. Can these individuals get a chance to lead the country?

    An evidence for how much the Oromo people was oppressed is the way you spell your father’s name. The correct way of writing your father’s name is Tolasa or Tolesa. But to bring it neare to Amharic “tolo” you wrote it as “Tolossa”. You are submissive Oromo or a half-casted person who hate your self. Ya!

    -Oromos have been and will stay Ethiopians
    -oromo kings have ruled Ethiopia in different period of history
    -Not wise to use Latin over Geez alphabet
    -Oromos and Amaharas have been in great social interaction through out history
    – Oromos and Amaharas had good relations than Oromos with Tigray or Amharas with Tigray
    – If we can manage to clear the confusion created by weyane, shabia and OLF, Oromos and Amharas could make a meracle in mama Ethiopia
    – Lets work to reclaim Oromo-Amahara long standing thrust and mutual existane.

The absurdity of being an Historian is that you cannot witness about events that happened in your life time properly; yet, you can claim historical narratives for events that happened 3000 years ago … funny, ain’t it? This is how I view Tolossa’s absurdity. With an absurd claim for a single alphabate, he turned the whole history (of almost humanity) upside down. So Unbelievable!

      shame on you! may be you better tell us what you are smoking my brother so that we can understand your problem.
      why do you think the Oromo should accept, use and learn Amharic as their own language while they do have their own and even very rich Afaan Oromoo?
      Are you telling us the old story of your grand fathers politics(imperialism) which states one language is better than another, one culture is beautiful than another?
      .I believe my neighbor’s elementary school kid is far better than you. The only difference is you show up here on the net to utter your rotten ignorance and your brain is damaged once and for all while the kid has a prospect to learn and change.
      For that matter Oromo has no single reason to accept and use Amharic as own language from political, social and economical point of view. Rather you better tell your kids to learn Afaan Oromoo as their second language because that may help if they want to work and live in oromiya from economic and social point of view.
      Finally please do yourself a favor by learning; knowledge help! Further more u may need to know, what is liberty and free choice if you believe we should co-exist as free nations on East Africa!
      As for the above Debtera named Dr. Fikre; he is only swimming in the early 16th century of Abysinnian dogmatic ideology and hence his views has no single use for oromo. We have reached a place where we can talk based on the principles of democracy, clear history, and vision as a nation. He doesn’t even help himself by liberating his mind let alone commenting on the destiny of more than 30 million oromo.

    I found it the most interesting article of 21st century. Dr. Fikre what are you telling us? your dream or story?
    I hope you don’t dare to say history, as you did not mention a single reference to your interesting article. If you don’t have an authority to your work, it is not different from Debtara’s dream/fiction of 16th century unless you want to repeat same in the 21st century.

Barreessaan xalayichaa garuu, ADOdhaaf hojii manaa (home work) waan kennuu barbaade fakkaata. Dhaabni qorannoo tokko yoo garee tokkoon qofa kan ijaaramu ykn uumamu ta’e, kun ittibahinsa quubsaa fiduu waan danda’u natti hin fakkaatu. Yoo walaba ta’ee kan ijaaramu fi walbaanis hojii isaa gaggeessu ta’e, kun bu’aa tokko fiduu danda’a. Kanaaf, kun akka waliigalaatti yaada badaa miti.
