የኮነሬል አብይ ኦህዴድ ብልፅግና መንግሥታዊ የልማት ድርጅቶች ሸጦ ለጦርነት ማዋል ይታገድ!!!በኦክቶበር 5 ቀን 2023እኤአ የሚደረገው፣  የኢትዮጵያ ስኳር ኢንዱስትሪ የፕራይቬታዜሽን  ጨረታ  ይታገድ!!!

የኮነሬል አብይ ኦህዴድ ብልፅግና መንግሥት በስመ ፕራይቬታዜሽን ስም ‹‹መንግሥታዊ የልማት ድርጅቶችን›› ውስጥ የኢትዮጵያ ስኳር ኢንዱስትሪ ግሩፕ (ETHIOPIAN SUGAR INDUSTRY GROUP) በጨረታ ለአገር ውስጥና ለዓለም አቀፍ ኢንቨስተሮች  ሸጦ ገንዘቡን ለጦርነት ስለሚያውለው ፕራይቬታዤሽኑ መንግሥት እስኪቀየር ድረስ እንዳይካሄድ ለዓለም ባንክ፣ ለዓለም የገንዘብ ድርጅት፣ ለአውሮፓ ህብረት፣ ለአሜሪካ መንግስት፣ ለአፍሪካ ህብረትና ለሚመለከተው ሁሉ ኢትዮጵያዊያን ዲያስፖራ ድርጅቶች ደብዳቤ በማስገባት ተቃውሞቸውን መግለጽ ይጠበቅባቸዋል፡፡ የመንግሥት የልማት ድርጅቶች  የፕራይቬታዜሽን  ጨረታ  ይታገድ!!!

ኦህዴድ ብልጽግና መንግሥታዊ ልማት ድርጅቶችን የሆነውን የኢትዮጵያ ስኳር ኢንዱስትሪ ለመሸጥና የጦር መሳሪያዎች ለመግዛት በ5 ኦክቶበር 2023እኤአ ቀጠሮ ይዘዋል፡፡ በፕራይቬታይዤሽን ከሚሸጡት ስምንት የኢትዮጵያ ስኳር ኢንዱስትሪ ፕሮጀክቶች ውስጥ አርጆ ዴዴሳ፣ ቀሰም፣ ኦሞ ኩራዝ አንድ፣ ኦሞ ኩራዝ ሁለት፣ ኦሞ ኩራዝ ሦስት፣ ኦሞ ኩራዝ አምስት፣ ጣና በለስና፣ ትንዳሆ ይገኙበታል፡፡  የኢትዮጵያ ኢንቨስትመንት ሆልዲንግስ በጨረታው ሃያ አገር በቀልና አለም አቀፍ ኢንቨስተሮች ለጨረታው ለመሳተፍ ፍላጎታቸውን ገልፀዋል፡፡

ስኳር ኢንዱስትሪ ፕራይቬታዜሽን ጨረታ ተሳታፊዎች ለአገር ውስጥና ለዓለም አቀፍ ኢንቨስተሮች ለሆኑት ለዳንጎቴ፣ ኮካኮላ ቢቬሬጅ አፍሪካ፣ ኢትዮሹገር ማኑፋክቸሪንግ ኢንዱስትሪ፣ አቢሲኒያ ግሩፕ ኢንዱስትሪ፣ 54 ካፒታል፣ ወዘተ ድርጅቶች ከጨረታው ራሳቸውን እንዲያገሉ  ኢትዮጵያዊያን ዲያስፖራ ድርጅቶች ደብዳቤ በመፃፍ በሚቀጥሉት ሦስት ቀናቶች ተቃውሞቸውን መግለፅ ይጠበቅባቸዋል፡፡ የኮነሬል አብይ አህመድ መንግሥት ጦርነቱን እስኪያቆምና ከሥልጣን እስኪወርድ ድረስ ማንኛውም የሃገር ውስጥና የዓለም አቀፍ ኢንቨስተሮች በኢትዮጵያ ፕራይቬታይዤሽን ጨረታ መሳተፍ ኢህጋዊና ኢሞራላዊ የኢንቨስተር ሥነ-ምግባር ነው እንላለን፡፡ We know today that Dangote and Coca Cola Beverage Africa (CCBA) are amongst the 20 companies, that have showed interest into the tender along with, Ethio sugar manufacturing industry involved with agriculture, manufacturing, services and trade, Abyssinia Group of Industries (AGI), one of the largest steel producers from Kenya and based in multiple east african countries, and the 54 Capital (Asset manager) a fast-moving consumer goods company (FMCG) in soaps, edible oils, mineral water and pasta, interested to invest in direct manufacturing and the vertical integration of its businesses……………………..……….(1)

እንደ ዓለም ባንክ መረጃ መሠረት፣ በኢትዮጵያ የሃገር ውስጥ የስኳር ምርት  700 000 (ሰባት መቶ ሽህ) ቶን ሲገመት  ለ115ሚሊዮን ህዝብ በቂ አልሆነም፡፡ በዚህም ምክንያት ሃገሪቱ ከውጭ ሃገር 57 በመቶ የስኳር ምርት በግዥ ወደ ሃገር ውስጥ ታስገባለች፡፡ With a market of approximately 700,000 tons of sugar for a population of 115 million (World Bank), the country imports a large part of its internal needs (57%). But the potential is there in this part of the African continent, and it can be a real opportunity to consider. Newly constructed mills and water availability through dams and rivers allow good perspective in terms of yields and performances. Most enterprises can produce ethanol and electricity (co-generation); they have refineries to produce refined sugar (except Kesem)………………………………..(2)

የኢትዮጵያ ስኳር ኢንዱስትሪ ግሩፕ የስኳር ምርትን አሁን ካለበት 3.6 ሚሊዮን ኩንታል ምርት ወደ 13 ሚሊዮን ኩንታል ምርት በሚቀጥሉት አምስት አመታት ለማድረስ አቅዶ ነበር፡፡ የኢትዮጵያ ስኳር ኢንዱስትሪ ሰባት መቶ ሽህ ቶን ምርት በዓመት 9.4 (ዘጠኝ ነጥብ አራት) ቢሊዮን ብር ገቢ ይገመታል፡፡ Ethiopia has planned to increase sugar production from the current 3.6 million quintals to 13 million quintals in the next five years.

Gov.t extends deadlines for eight sugar factories’ privatization/July 31, 2023………………….(3)

Ministry of Finance and Ethiopian Investment Holding (EIH) has extended deadline for the privatization bid to October 5, 2023, which was originally slated for august 3, 2023. The two institutions, on behalf of Ethiopian government, issued the Expression of Interest (EoI) back in august 2022. Government also disclosed some 20 local and international investors have expressed interest. Nonetheless, the RFP submission and site visits for the eight projects are postponed based on the ‘request of potential bidders’, according to the statement issued by MoF on July 31, 2023. The projects include Arjo Dedessa, Kessem, Omo Kuraz 1, Omo Kuraz 2, Omo Kuraz 3, Omo Kuraz 5, Tana Beles, and Tendaho.

Sugar industry፡-Ethiopia’s nearly 120 million people consume about 700 thousand tons of sugar annually. The country’s climate and large swaths of irrigable land provide an ideal environment for sugar cane cultivation.

Company description፡-The Ethiopian Sugar Industry Group (ESIG) is engaged in cultivation of sugar cane, refinery into sugar and by-products mainly ethanol, molasses, electricity. ESIG aspires to meet local demand and become a notable exporter for household and industrial sugar consumers.
