1. UDJ can now go its way. It is important for the rest of MEDREC to form their alliance and move forward. One should not expect UDJ will affect the political situation in Oromia , Southern People, Tigray and the rest of the country. Even its influence in Amhara region will be curbed by the presence of other Amhara organizations which are more pallatable to their wish. UDJ may play a card with some TPLF power. This will not change the picture. It is important that MEDREK as an organization now has the weak link removed from its rank.

2. Medrek is a collection of ethnic parties built as a mirror image of EPRDF, which the fascist ethnicist Tigre people liberation front designed. There is so much squabble within Medrek , possibly caused mainly by groups and individuals planted by Tigre liberation force operating and controlling the organisation.
