የኛ ነገር፡ የተሸነፈ ርእዮተአገርና ገፊ ፖለቲካ፤ (ተክለሚካሄል አበበ )

ስለመጪው ሶስተኛ ሪፐብሊክ፤ ካለፈው የቀጠለ፤ ሀ
ትንሽ ወደኁዋላ፤ እንደ መግቢያ
1. ግንቦት፤ 2003/2011፤ በቶሮንቶ ከተማ፤ ጃዋርና ኦባንግ፤ አሎ አይደሂስና (ሸጋ የአፋር ሰው ነው) አበበ በለው በእንግድነት የተገኙበትን ሕዝባዊ ስብሰባ ተንተርሼ፤ አንድ ወርቅ የሆነ ጽሁፍ ጽፌ ነበር፡፡ ጽሁፉን ያላነበባችሁ ብታነቡት፤ ያነበባችሁትም ብትደግሙት አይቆጫችሁም፡፡ ጽሁፉ ይቀጥላል ብዬ ጊዜ ጠፋና ቀጣዩን ክፍል ሳላቀርብ ቀጠልኩ፡፡ ስለኦባንግ ገጠመኝ ተርኬ፤ ስለጃዋር ጀምሬ ነበር ያቆምኩት፡፡ አሁን መቀጠሉ ወቅታዊ መስሎ ታየኝ፡፡ ከስብሰባው በፊት ይመስለኛል ስለወቅታዊና መሰረታዊ የኢትዮጵያ ሁኔታ ስናወራ፤ ተራው ህዝብ ለገዢ መደቦች ስራ ተጠያቂ ባሆንም፤ በኢትዮጵያ ነባራዊ ሁኔታ ውስጥ ግን፤ ተራው የአማራ ህዝብ፤ ገዢው መደብ የፈጠረውን ርእዮተአገር በገቢርም በነቢብም ተቀብሎ ኖሮበታል፤ በብዙ ስፍራዎችም ይሄንን ርእዮተ-አገር ተጠቅሞ ሌሎችን ጨቁኖበታልም፤ ብሎ ለማስረዳት ሞከረ፡፡ ምሳሌ ሰጠ፡፡ ነገሩ ከአመታት በፊት የሆነ፤ የተለመደ ሁሉም ወይም ብዙዎቹ ኦሮሞዎች እለት ተእለት የሚጋጥማቸው ቢሆንም፤ ነጥባችንን ለማስረዳት ይጠቅማልና እጠቅሰዋለሁ፡፡ እነሆ አጋጣሚው፡፡

ጃዋር መሀመድ
2. ጃዋር የገጠር ልጅ ነው፤ ከላይ በጠቀስኩት ጽሁፍ ላይ ራሱ እንዳለው፡፡ የዛሬ አስራምናምን አመት፤ ከቤተሰቦቹ ተለይቶ ከተማ ቤት ተከራቶ ትምህረቱን የሚከታተለው ታዳጊው ወጣት፤ ጃዋር ሲራጅ መሀመድ፤ አንድ ቀን አምሽቶ ዝናብ እየደበደበው ይመስለኛል ወደተከራው ቤት ይመጣል፡፡ አከራዩ ደግ አማራ ሴት፤ ለጃዋር ምግብ ሰጥታ፤ እሳት አንድዳ እያሞቀችዉ፤ ከላዩ ላይ ጋቢ ደርባ “ለምን እስኪመሽ ቆየህ አሁን ከመንገድ አንድ ጋላ ቢያገኝህና አንገትህን ቢልሀስ” አለችው፡፡ የዚህን ልጅ ስሜትና ምላሽ ለመረዳት ኦሮሞ መሆን አያስፈልግም፡፡ ራስን በሱ ቦታ ማስቀመጥና ነገሩን የራስን ጎራ ያለስስት በመተቸት ፈቃደኝነት ማሰላሰል እንጂ፡፡

3. ልክ ጅሁርና ጋይንት፤ ቢቸናና አንኮበር እንደምትኖር አንዲት አማራ ኢትዮጵያዊት፤ ይህቺ ሴት ክፋት እንደሌላትና የንግግሩዋን ፖለቲካዊ አንድምታ፤ በዚህ ልጅ ቀጣይ ማንነት ውስጥ የሚኖረውንም ፋይዳ እንደማታውቅ አሳምሮ መገመት ይቻላል፡፡ ይሄንን አጋጣሚ የነገረን ጃዋር ግን የሚለው፤ ይህቺ የዋህ ሴት የኢትዮጵያ ገዢ መደብ አካላት ያሰራጩትንና ለገዢ መሳሪያነት የተጠቀሙበትን የተወሰነ የህብረተሰብ ክፍልን ዝቅ የማድረግ አመለካከት፤ ሳታውቀው ከነፍሱዋ አዋህዳዋለች ነው፡፡ ስለዚህም፤ በቀጥታ ይሄንን የተወሰነ ብሄርን ዝቅ የማድረግ ባህል በመፍጠርና በመቅረጽ ባትጠየቅም፤ የዚህ ባህል በረከት ተቁዋዳሽ በመሆንና አውቃም ሳታውቅም ይሄንን ባህል እድሜ በመስጠት ተሳታፊ ነች ሲል ተከራከረ፡፡ በላይኛው ጽሁፍ ላይ ሰፈርኩትን የኦባንግን ገጠመኝ ጨምረን ካየነው፤ የጃዋር መከራከሪያ ስሜት ይሰጣል፡፡

ገረሱ ቱፋ፤

4. የላይኛው የጃዋር ገጠመኝ ቀሽም ሊመስል ይችላል፡፡ ከሰደበኝ መልሶ የነገረኝ እንዳልባል እንጂ፤ የገረሱ ቱፋ የከረሩ ምሳሌዎች ደግሞ አሉ፡፡ አንዱን ልጥቀስ፡፡ ኦሮሞው ወዳጄ ገረሱ ቱፋም፤ እንዲሁ ልጅ ሆኖ ሳለ፤ ጾም መሆኑን ረሳና፤ ወተት ጠጣ፡፡ እናቱ ወደንስሀ አባታቸው ላኩት፡፡ ቄሱ ቃል በቃል ምን ብለው እንደመለሱለትና ልቡን እንዳደሙት የነገረኝን በደንብ አላስታውሰውም፡፡ ብቻ፤ “ኤድያ ደግሞ፤ የጋላ ጹዋሚ ብሎ ነገር የለም” ብለው መለሱለት፡፡ “ለጋላ ንስሀ አባት ዲያቆን መች አነሰው” አይነት የሚለውን፤ የተለመደውን ክብረ-ነክ ተረት የሚያጠናክርና የሚያናንቅ መልስ ነው፡፡ በወቅቱ ገረሱ የሱ ጣፋት መስሎት ነበር፡፡ ነፍስ እያወቀ ሲመጣ ግን የሱ ጥፋት ሳይሆን ልክ እንደጃዋር ቀላቢ፤ አውቀውም ይሁን ሳያውቁ፤ በቄሱ ውስጥ የተተከለውን የሱን ብሄር ዝቅ የሚያደርግ ገዢው መደብ የፈጠረው ንቀትና ጥላቻ ተገለጸለት፡፡ ከአመታት በሁዋላ፤ እነሆ በገረሱ ነፍስ ውስጥ አብሮ የሚኖርና ዘወትር ቄሱ ስለወጡበት ህብረተሰብ ሲያስብና እኛ ጋር ክርክር በገጠመ ቁጥር ትዝ የሚለው መርዝ አጋጣሚ ሆነ፡፡ እንደውም ኢትዮጵያ ስትባል፤ የኚህን ቄስ ጋቢ የደረበች የአማሮች ፈጠራ መስላ ታየችው፡፡

5. ይሄ ሁሉም ሆኖ፤ ጃዋር እንደውም ኢትዮጵያ ኦሮሞነትን የሚያንጸባርቅ ቀለም ከቀባናት፤ አንድ ነን ወይም ልንሆን እንችላለን የሚለውን ሀሳብ ይቀበል ነበር፡፡ የኛን ቄስ ንግግር ፖለቲካዊ አንድምታ ከተደራ በሁዋላ ለቀብር ካልሆነ ቤተክርስቲያን ደርሶ የማያውቀው ገረሱ ግን፤ የኢትዮጵያ አንድነት የሚባል ነገር አገባውም፡፡ አንድ አይደለንም ባይ ነው፡፡ ከሆንም፤ አንድነታችን የጎደፈ አንድነት ሆኖ ነው የሚታየው፡፡

6. ብዙ እላይ ከጠቀስኩዋቸው የከፉ ምሳሌዎችን ማንሳት ይሻላል፡፡ ግን እነዚህ የኦሮሞም ይሁን ሌሎች ብሄርተኞች የሚያነሱዋቸውን ፖለቲካዊና ማህበራዊ ክሶች በንደዚህ አይነት አጋጣሚዎችና ማስራጀዎች ለማስረዳት መሞከር፤ የክሱን ስፋትና ጥልቀት ማሳነስ ይመስለኛል፡፡ ማውራቱ ነገሩን ያቀለዋል፡፡ ያንን ስሜትና እውነታ መኖር ግን ከሕመም በላይ ነው፡፡ በዚህ አገባብ ውስጥ ነው ያለፉት ሶስት ወራት የነጃዋር ንትርክ የተጀመረው፡፡

7. እነዚህን ምሳሌዎች ያነሳሁዋቸው፤ አንደኛ፤ በዚህ ሰሞን ፖለቲካዊና ማህበራዊ ዝልዘላችንን ተቆጣጥረውት የቆዩትን ከአኖሎ ሀውልት እስከ በደሌ ኮንሰርት፤ ከምኒሊክ ቅድስና እስከ ጃዋር ትንተና ያሉትን ጉዳዮች ስንመለከት፤ በተወሰነ መልኩ የነዚህን ሰዎች ስሜት ለመረዳት የነዚህን ሰዎች አመለካከት የለወጡ ወይንም ያዳበሩ አጋጣሚዎችን መስማት ራሳችንንና የምንደግፈውን ርእዮተአገረ ለመደገፍ ከመሽቀዳደም ይልቅ የሰዎቹን ክስ በትእግስት ወደማድመጥ ሊወስደን ይችላል በሚል እምነት ነው፡፡ ሁለተኛ፤ የጃዋርና የገረሱ ፖለቲካዊ ማንነት የተወለደውና የተሞረደው ከንደዚህ አይነት ፖለቲካዊና ማሀበራዊ ክስተቶች ነውና እነጃዋር የሚሉትን መስማትም መገምገምም ያለብን በዚህ ማእቀፍ ውስጥ እንደሆነ ለማሳየትና፤ በዚያ አይነት ጉዞ ውስጥ ያደጉና የነቁ ወጣቶች ኢትዮጵዊነት ለምን እንደሚያስጸይፋቸው ሲናገሩ፤ በተስኪያን እንደገባች ውሻ ከማባረር፤ እንደግለሰብም ይሁን እንደተቁዋም፤ እነዚህን ልጆች ጸረ-ኢትዮጵያ አድርገን ከመፈረጃችን በፊት፤ ህመማቸውን ለማድመጥና ለማከም መጣር ይገባል፡፡ ኢህአዴግ ወደቆ እንድትኖር የምንፈልጋት ኢትዮጵያም፤ እነዚህን ህመሞች ለማስታመም የሚችል ህገመንግስታዊ፤ ስነልቡናዊና ፖለቲካዊ ዝግጅት ከሌላት፤ የተቃውሞ ፖለቲካችን በርግጥም የመፍትሄ ሳይሆን፤ የማውገዝ ብቻ ይሆናል፡፡ የዛሬው ጽሁፌ ስለዚህ ፖለቲካዊ ህክምናና ብናደርግ ስለሚበጁን ነገሮች መንገድ ለመጠቆም ነው፡፡ በዚህኛው ክፍል ጠቅላላ ነገሮች ይነሳሉ፡፡ በሚቀጥለው ክፍል ደግሞ መፍትሄዎች ይጠቆማሉ፡፡

መጀመሪያ አፍሪካዊ ወይስ ኢትዮጵያዊ?

8. ባለፈው ሰሞን፤ አልጀዚራ ላይ በቀጥታ ስርጭት ይመስለኛል፤ ጃዋር ፖለቲካዊ አጣብቂኝ ውስጥ የሚከተውን ጥያቄ ተጠየቀ፡፡ “መጀመሪያ ኦሮሞ ነህ፤ ኢትዮጵዊ?” የሚል፡፡ የሚቀጥለው ምሳሌ መቶ በመቶ ላይመሳሰል ይችላል፡፡ የተወሰነ መመሳሰል ግን አለው፡፡ አንድ ሰላሳ አመት ካናዳ ወይም አሜሪካ ውስጥ የኖረ ኢትዮጵያ፤ ወይንም እነዚህ አገር ውስጥ የተወለደ ናይጄሪዊ ይህንን ጥያቄ ቢጠየቅና፤ መጀመሪያ ናይጄሪያዊ ነኝ ብሎ ቢናገር፤ አሜሪካኖችን ወይንም ካናዳዎችን የሚያስቆጣ አይመስለኝም፡፡ ጃዋር ከኢትዮጵ በፊት መጀመሪያ ኦሮሞ ነኝ ብሎ ሲናገር ግን ብዙዎች አኮረፉ፡፡ ንትርክ ተጀመረ፡፡ የነቁና የበቁ የሚመስሉ የአንድነት አቀንቃኞች ራሱ ተቆጡ፡፡ አሁን በእመብርሀን ይሄ ምኑ ያበሳጫል? በዚህ መደንገጥም መቆጣትም የለብንም፡፡ ማድረግ ካለብን መጠየቅ ብቻ ነው፡፡ ችግሩ፤ እንድንሸመድድ እንጂ፤ እንድንጠይቅ በሚያበረታታ ባህል ውስጥ አላደግንምና፤ ከመጠየቅ ይልቅ፤ ልጁን ወደመዘልዘሉ ዘለልን፡፡

9. አንደኛ፤ ከአገሬ በፊት ብሄሬን ነኝ የሚለው መልስ እንደየአመለካከታችን ትክክል ሊሆን ይችላል፡፡ በርግጥም ሰው ከአገሩ በፊት ብሄሩን ነው፡፡ አንድ ኢትዮጵያዊ መጀመሪያ ኢትዮጵያዊ ነህ አፍሪካዊ ቢባልና መጀመሪያ ኢትዮጵያዊ ነኝ ብሎ ቢመልስ፤ ምንም ብዙ ቁጣ የሚቀሰቅስ አይመስለኝም፡፡ ያ ባይሆንም እንኩዋን፤ እንዲህ አይነት ጥያቄዎች አንድ ወጥ የሆነ ሳንሳዊ መልስ ስለሌላቸው፤ ሰዎች አጣብቂኝ ውስጥ በሚያስገባ መልኩ ሲጠየቁ፤ ብዙ ሳያወጡ ሳያወርዱ እንዲህ አይነት መልስ ቢመልሱ፤ ሲሆን ሲሆን መልሳቸውን መቀበል፤ ያለበለዚያም የመልሳቸውን መሰረት ለመረዳት መሞከር እንጂ፤ ግፋ ካለም መልሳቸው ለምን ስህተት እንደሆነ ለመጠቆም መሞከር እንጂ፤ በመልሳቸው ማውገዝ አግባብ አይደለም፡፡ ለጃዋር የተሰጠው ተቃውሞ ደግሞ በብዛት የመጣው የአሜሪካና ካናዳ እንዲሁም የአውሮፓ ፓስፖርታቸውን ተሸክመው መጀመሪያ ኢትዮጵያዊ ነን ብለው ከሚናገሩ ሰዎች አንደበት መሆኑን ስናይ፤ አንዳንድ ግዜ ሚዛናችን ምን ህል የተዛባ ነው ያሰኛል፡፡

ጃዋር ሚናገረውን ያውቃል፤ ያለውንስ ለምን አለ?

10. በመሰረቱ፤ ይህ ልጅ መቼም ሰው ነውና አንዳንድ ግዜ አግባብ ያልሆነ ነገር ቢያመልጠውም፤ የሚሰራውንም የሚናገረውንም ያውቃል፡፡ ከላይ በጠቀስኩት ጽሁፍ ኦባንግ ሜቶ እንዳለው፤ “በኢትዮጵያዊነታችን ያጣነው ነገር ስላለ ብቻ ኢትዮጵያዊነታችን ይሰረዛል ማለት አይደለም”። ጃዋር፤ ልክ እንደ ኤርትራ እዚያ አካባቢ ኦሮሞ ወይንም ኦሮሚያ የሚባል መንግስት እስካልተመሰረተ ድረስ፤ ቢወድም ባይወድም፤ ጥንትም አሁንም ኢትዮጵያዊ እንደሆነ ያውቀዋል፡፡ ኤርትራ ተፈጥራም እንኩዋን፤ ኤርትራዊነትና ኢትዮጵያዊነት በሁለቱ አገሮች መካከል እንደሚሰመር ድንበር ይቀላል ማለት አይደለም፡፡ ጥምር ዜግነት የሚሉትን ጽንሰሀሳብም ማስታወስ አይጎዳም፡፡ ኢትዮጵያዊ መሆንም ሙሉ በሙሉ የስራችንና የምርጫችን ውጤት ሳይሆን፤ የትውልድና የሕግ ጉዳይ ነው፡፡ ጃዋር እስከቅርብ አመታት ድረስ የኢትዮጵያ ፓስፖርት ይዞ እንደሚዞር እገምታለሁ፡፡ ልጁ እያለ ያለው ግን፤ ህግና አለማቀፍ ፖለቲካ አስገድዶኝ ኢትዮጵዊ ብሆንም፤ ፖለቲካዊ ነፍሴ ኢትዮጵያዊ አይደለም ነው፡፡

11. ነፍስ እንደዜግነት በህግ አትገደድም፡፡ ነፍስ ዜግነቱዋን ወይም ማንነትዋን ትመርጣለች እንጂ፡፡ ነፍሱ ማንነትዋን መረጠች፡፡ የኛ ስራ መሆን ያለበት፤ መናደድ ወይም ማበድ ሳይሆን፤ መጀመሪያ ማብረድ፤ ልክ አሁን እኔ እንደማደርገው፤ ከዚያ መጠየቅ ነው፡፡ ይሄ ልጅ ለምን እንደዚያ አለ፡፡ ኢትዮጵያዊ ነው ብለን፤ በየሬድዮና ቴሌቪዥናችን ስንሰቅለው፤ በየስብሰባና በየመድረካችን ስናቀርበው፤ ድንገት ተነስቶ እንዴት እንዲህ ጉድ አረገን፡፡ ብዙዎቻችን ግን አልጠየቅንም፡፡ ፈረድን እንጂ፡፡ አትፍረድ ይፈረድብሀል የሚል ብሂል ባነገበ ሀይማኖት ክርስትና የተነሳን ሁሉ ፈረድን፡፡

እንደሚመስለኝ፤ እኔ እንደማስበው፤

12. ጃዋር፤ ያንን የቴሌቪዥን ውይይት የሚከታተል ሁለት ትልልቅ ቡድን እንዳለ ያውቃል፡፡ አንደኛው በተለምዶ የአንድነት ሀይል የሚባለው፤ ሁለተኛው የነጻነት ወይንም የኦሮሞ ብሄርተኛ ሀይል፡፡ ሌሎች ሶስተኛም አራተኛም ቡድኖች ኖራሉ፡፡ ያለውን ፖለቲካዊ ራእይ በተደጋጋሚ የፈነጠቀው ጃዋር፤ ዞሮ ዞሮ የአንድነቱ ሀይል በጥርጣሬ እንደሚያየው ወይንም የብሄር ማንነቱን ጨፍልቆ እንጂ እሱ በሚፈልገው መልኩ እንደማይቀበለው በተለያየ አጋጣሚ አስተውሎዋል፡፡ ስለዚህ በሱ ቦታ ላለ፤ ከላይ በአንቀጽ 2፣ 3፣ እና አራት በጠቀስናቸው የእለት ተእለት ፖለቲካዊና ማህበራዊ ክስተቶች ውስጥ ላደገና ለሚኖር ኢትዮጵያዊ፤ እንደዚያ ባለ ፍጥነትን በሚጠይቅ አጣብቂኝ ውስጥ የሚሰጠው መልስ መጻኢ የፖለቲካ እድሉ ላይ እንደሚያጠላበት ያውቃል፡፡ ስለዚህ፤ መጀመሪ ኦሮሞ ነኝ አለ፡፡ በተወሰነ መልኩም ኢትዮጵያዊነት እንደተጫነበት ጠቀሰ፡፡

13. አስቀድመን ጃዋር ላይ የጫንበት ማንነት ወይንም ዜግነትና ለተጠየቀው ጥያቄ እኛ ያዘጋጀልነት መልስ ከሌለ በስተቀር፤ የሚሰማውን ማንነትና ውስጡ የሚቀበለውን ዜግነት የሚያውቀው እሱ እንጂ፤ እኛ አይደለንም፡፡ ስለዚህም በወቅቱ ብሄርን ማስቀደሙ ምክንያታዊ ውሳኔ ነው፡፡ ፖለቲካዊ ብልሀትም ነው፡፡ በርግጥም በሁዋላ የተከተለውን እሱንና አመለካከቱን የማሳደድ ዘመቻና ውግዘት ለተመለከተ፤ የጃዋር መልስ ትክክል ነበር ያሰኛል፡፡ ምክንያቱም እኝ የቀረጽንለት ኢትዮጵያ ለሱ ስሜት መፈናፈኛ የሌላት ሆና ተገኝታለችና፡፡ ጃዋር የቆየ የኢትዮጵያውን ልሂቃን፤ ”የኛ መንገድ ብቸኛውና አማራጭ የሌለው ምርጥ መንገድ ነው፤ ከኛ እውቅናና መንገድ ውጪ የሚጉዋዝ ውጉዝ ይደምሰስ”፤ የሚል ትውልድ ያጫረሰና፤ እነፍቅረስላሴ ወግደረስ ከ20 አመታት እስርም በሁዋላ ያልለወጡት፤ ችኮ ፖለቲካዊ ስነልቡና ሰለባ ነው የሆነው፡፡ እንደውም፤ ለጃዋር፤ እኛ ከቀረጽንለት ኢትዮጵያ ይልቅ፤ ኢህአዴግ የፈተለለት ኢትዮጵያ የተሻለች ብትመስለው አይገርመኝም፡፡

የብሄር ፖለቲካን፤ በከፊል መቀበል ነው፤

14. እነዚህ ወጣቶችም ሆኑ የፖለቲካ ንስሀ አባቶቻቸው፤ በዚህ በአልጀዚራ ላይ የሰማነውን አይነት፤ ኢትዮጵዊነትን ጥያቄ ውስጥ የሚያስገባ፤ ለኛ ለመቀበል የሚያስቸግረን ንግግር ሲናገሩ፤ የቆሰለውና እንዲህ ወዳለው ስሜት ውስጥ የሰነቀራቸውን ፖለቲካዊ ሕመም በማከም ፈንታ፤ እንደጠላት የሚፈርጅ አካሄዳችንና ራሳችንን የኢትዮጵያ አንድነት ጋሻዣግሬዎች አድርጎ የመሾም ባህላችንን ነው፤ እነዚህን ሰዎች ወደጽንፈንነት የሚመራቸው፡፡ ያ ደግሞ ለኛም ለኢትዮጵያም አይበጅም፡፡ በዚህ ረገድ ይሄን ያህል አመት በኢህአዴግ መበለጣችን ሁሌም ይገርመኛል፡፡ ምክንያቱም፤ ኢህአዴግ ለነጃዋር፤ የአንድነቱ ሀይል ለመቀበል የሚያዳግተውን፤ ኦሮሚያ የሚባል ክልል/ካርታ፤ ሙሉ ነጻነት ባይኖረውም በራሱ ቁዋንቁዋ የሚተዳደር መንግስት ሰጥቶዋቸዋልና፡፡ ስለዚህ ከአንድነት ሀይሉ ውግዘት ጋር ሲወዳደር ብቻ ሳይሆን፤ ራሱን ችሎም፤ ኢህአዴግ ለብሄር ፖለቲከኞች የሰጠው ፖለቲካዊ ገጸ-በረከት፤ ልብ የሚማርክ ነው፡፡

15. የዚህ የብሄር ፖለቲካ ርእዮተአገር እንደአዲስ በመጣበት ሰዓት ለብዙዎቻችን አዲስና አስደንጋጭ ነበርና ባንቀበለው አይገርመኝም፡፡ እኔና ተስፋዬ ”ጋላው”፤ ስለሺና ወዲ ትግሬው በብሄር ሳይሆን በሰፈር፤ በቁዋንቁዋ ሳይሆን በክፍል፤ በሀይማኖት ሳይሆን፤ በእድሜ ተከፋፍለን ኩዋስ ስንጠልዝ፤ ሴት ስናባርር፤ ጠላ ስንገለብጥ፤ ድግስ ስናሳድድ ነበርና ድንገት የመጣው፤ በርግጥም የብሄር ፖለቲካ አስደንጋጭ ነበር፡፡ ከ22 አመታት ሽንፈት በሁዋላም ግን ራሳችንንና አስተሳሰባችንን አሸናፊ ሆኖ ከወጣው የብሄር ፖለቲካ ጋር ማጣጣም አለመቻላችን ግራ ነው የገባኝ፡፡ ለዚህም ነው፤ የብሄርተኞችን ቁስል በማከክና በማከም ረገድ ኢህአዴግ በልጦናል፡፡ እኛ እንደውም ቁስሉን የምናክም ሳሆን የምናመረቅዝ ሆነናል፡፡

16. ኢህአዴግ ለነሱ አስቦም ይሁን ለራሱ የፖለቲካ ጥቅም፤ የብሄርን ፖለቲካ በሚገባ ተጠቅሞበታል፡፡ 22 አመታት ያለብዙ ፈተና መርቶበታል፡፡ ስለዚህም እነሌንጮ ለታ እነሌንጮ ባቲ እንኩዋን፤ እንደገና ወደሁዋላ የኢህአዴግን አስተዳደር ተቀብለው ለመኖር እያኮቦኮቡ ነው፡፡ ምክንቱም ኢህአዴግ ጠላት ቢሆንም፤ በሌላ በኩል ከተሰለፈው ወደሁዋላ ሊጎትተን ይፈልጋል ብለው ከሚፈሩት የአንድነት ሀይል የተሻለ ጠላት እንደሆነ ያውቁታልና፡፡ ስለዚህ ይሄንን ጎሳን ወይንም ብሄርን መሰረት ያደረገ ፖለቲካዊ መሳሪያ ይዞ፤ ኢህአዴግ ሌላ 20 አመት ቢገዛም አይገርመኝም፡፡

17. እንደፖለቲካዊ ስበስብ፤ ሙሉ በሙሉ የኢህአዴግን የብሄር ፖለቲካ ባንቀበለውም እንኩዋን፤ ኢህአዴግ ክፉ መንግስት እንደሆነ ቢያውቁም፤ በተወሰነ መልኩ በፊት ያልነበረንን መብት አስከብሮልናል ብለው፤ የኢህአዴግን የብሄር ፖለቲካ ተቀብለው ኢህአዴግን በሀይለኛው የሚደግፉትን ቡድኖች የሚማርክ አማራጭ ማቅረብ አልቻልንም፡፡ እንደግንቦት ሰባት ያሉ በንጽጽር የተሸሉና የሰለጠኑ አባላት ያሉበት ድርጅት እንኩዋን፤ ብዙውን እንዲህ ያለውን ፖለቲካዊ ጉዳይ፤ ”ህዝቡ ይወስናል”፤ የሚል የስንፍናና የሽሽት አንቀጽ ሰንቅረው፤ በጎን ሸውደው አልፈውታል፡፡ በዚህ የፖለቲካ ድርጅቶቻችን፤ እንኩዋን የሚያሸንፍ፤ የሚያሰልፍም አማራጭ ርእዮተ-አገር ባልቀየሱበት ሁኔታ ነው፤ ይባስ ብለን፤ በተወሰነ መልኩም ከኛ ጋር ለመስራት የሚጥሩትን ጃዋሮች አመናጭቀን የምንገፋው፡፡ የዚህኛው ገፊ ፖለቲካ መጨረሻ፤ ልጆቹ ልክ እንደ ሌንጮ ለታ ወደጠላት ጎራ እንዲገቡ መገፋፋት ያለበለዚም ሌላ የፈተና ግንባር እንዲፈጥሩ ማበረታታት ነው የሚሆነው፡፡

18. ባንድ በኩል የሌንጮን ወደኢትዮጵያ የመመለስ ውሳኔ፤ ድፍረትና ብልሀት የተሞላበት ውሳኔ ነው ብዬ ባደንቅም፤ በሌላ በኩል ግን የሌንጮ ወደኢትዮጵያ የመመለስ ውሳኔ የአንድነቱን ሀይል ፖለቲካዊ ችኮነትና ውድቀትም ያሳያል፡፡ ሌንጮስ እድሜውም እየገፋ ነውና እንደጎልማሳነት ዘመኑ ብዙ ላያስቸግረን ይችላል፡፡ መጪውን ዘመን የሚዳኙትን፤ እነጃዋር መሀመድን፤ እነገረሱ ቱፋን ግን በትእግስት ልናስተናግዳቸው ሲገባ፤ ሌንጮን መማረክ የተሳነን፤ በኛ ብሶ፤ ደግሞ ይሄንንም ልጅ፤ ጃዋርን ገፋነው፡፡ ከገፋነው በሁዋላ፤ ምንስ ቢል፤ ምንስ ቢያደርግ፤ ምን ይደንቃል፡፡ ከሲያትል እስከ ለንደን፤ ከቶሮንቶ እስከ እስከ ሚኒያፖሊስ ቀድሞም የድርጅት ድክመት ይዞት እንጂ፤ በቁዋፍ የነበረውን የኦሮሞ ብሄርተኛ፤ ለዘብተኛ የነበረውን ሁሉ፤ ኦሮሞ ይቅደም እያለ ሰበሰበው፡፡ እርግጠኛ ነኝ፤ ጃዋር በህልሙም በእውኑም ያላሰበውን ፖለቲካዊ መድረክ ፈጠርንለት፡፡ ገፊ ፖለቲካችን እኛኑ ሳይፈጀን፤ ይሄንን ገፊ የፖለቲካ ቅኝታችንን መለወጥ አለብን፡፡

ሶስት ሀይሎች፤ አንድነት፤ ነጻነት እና ኢህአዴግ

19. እንደሚመስለኝ፤ ይህ ልጅ፤ በኢትዮጵያ ነባራዊ ሁኔታ ውስጥ በዋንኛነት፤ ሶስት አገራዊ ሀይሎች የኢትዮጵያን እጣ ፈንታ ለመለወጥ ትግል እንደገጠሙ ገምቶዋል፡፡ አንደኛው አህአዴግና አጋሮቹ፤ ሁለተኛው በተለምዶ የአንድነት ሀይል የሚባለው ቡድን፤ ሶስተኛው ደግሞ የነጻነት ሀይሎች ወይንም የዘውግ ብሄርተኞች የሚባሉት ናቸው፡፡ እንደሚመስለኝ የጃዋር ጠቅላላ ስሌት የሀይል ሚዛኑን ወደኦሮሞ ብሄርተኞች መድፋት ነው፡፡ ኢህአዴግ ኖሮም ይሁን ኢህአዴግ ወድቆ የምትቀጥለው ኢትዮጵያ እጣ ፈንታ አወሳሰን ላይ፤ ቀደም ሲል ኦሮሞ፤ በድምስሱ ደግሞ እስላም ኦሮሞው የአንበሳውን ድርሻ እንዲይዝ ፈልጋል፡፡ ለዚህ ደግሞ በተለምዶ የአንድነት ሀይል እየተባለ የሚጠራው ሀይል በተዘረረበት ወይንም እርስበርሱ በተከፋፈለበትና በአንድነት ለመስራት በየወንዙ እየተማማለ መሀላውን በየጋራው በሚያፈርስበት ሰዓት፤ ሲሆን ሲሆን ኦሮሞውን አንድ አድርጎ፤ አንድም ባይሆን አጠናክሮ መያዝ፤ በቀጣይዋ ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ የይል ሚዛኑንን ወደነርሱ እንዲሆን ያሰፋዋል ብሎ ያምናል፡፡

20. ስለዚህ ጃዋር መጀመሪያ ኦሮሞ ነኝ ሲል፤ ይሄንን ኦሮሞን እንደአንድ ሀይል አጠናክሮ መጉዋዝ፤ መጪዋን ኢትዮጵያን ለመቅረጽ ያስችለናል ከሚል ስሌት ተነስቶ ይመስለኛል፡፡ ምክንቱም፤ ይሄ ልጅ ዞሮ ዞሮ፤ አማራ ወይንም አምሀራይዝድ ሌሎች የበዙበት የአንድነቱ ሀይል በቀላሉ እንደማይቀበለው ያውቀዋል፡፡ ትግሉን እንደከዳ፤ ከአማራ ጋር እንዳበረ እየተከሰሰም ቢሆን፤ ይህ ልጅ አምስት ስድስት አመት፤ ከአንድነት ሀይሉ ጋር አብሮ በልቶ ጠጥቶ፤ ተከራክሮና ተደራድሮ አየው፡፡ አንድነት ጭፍለቃ ነው የሆነበት፡፡ መፈናፈኛ አሳጣው፡፡ ስለዚህ፤ ጃዋር ተገኑን፤ ወይም ኮንስቲቲወንሲውን መምረጡ ነው መጀመሪያ ኦሮሞ ነኝ ያሰኘው፡፡ በሌላ አነጋገር፤ አማሮችና ትግሬዎች እየተፈራረቁ ይህቺን አገር መርተዋል፡፡ አሁን ደግሞ እኛ እንምራ ነው ነገሩ፡፡ በትግሬ ታኮ ወይንም በአማራ ጥላ ስር ሳይሆን፤ በራሳችን መታወቂያ፡፡ አገሪቱን መምራት ካልቻልንም፤ ቢያንስ የራሳችንን እጣ ፈንታ እንወስን ነው፡፡ የኛ ምላሽ ….

  2. Tekle, good analysis over all. Yes, it is not necessary to fight small people like Jawar. People made him a hero among the tribalits because of unnecessary attention. But believe me there will be a time he will hide. He are the points you missed though.

    1) No one benefits from Ethiopian unity better than TPLF.So do not think the “unity forces” you speak about are beneficiary.
    2) We have to call a spade a spade. Clearly we cannot work with Jawar. So it is right to forget Jawar,
    3)Lencho may go and embrace the TPLF, but there is nothing he will gain for the Oromo people. For that matter Jawar can follow. Nothing he can do for the Oromo people except pocketing money for himself.
    4) Jawar cannot get political prominence because he says he is Oromo first. The maximum vote he gets is 35% if all Oromos elect him (which I doubt). As you know 35% can not be a government in any democracy. so this so called Oromo majority is a leap service.
    5) Even if the Jawarites succeed to liberate “Oromia” they cannot lead a peaceful “Oromia.”
    6) I am sure the story about the woman who said “gala” is untrue. Jawar used it for narration in his speech to radicalize Oromos. She will only say, “durye bimetah”
    7) The use of derogatory words in society is not unique to Ethiopia. Go to united kingdom. The Wales, the Irish and the Scottish say so many things of each other. The important thing is, is there a policy that labels such things?
    8) Jawar is trying to unite Oromos in a negative way and get political prominence. But speaking afan oromo is not the sole qualification. Can he bring the Kenyan Oromos simply because they speak afan Oromo?

    9) Do not forget every Ethiopian can claim “oromia” The current “Oromia” is not necessarily the land of Oromos alone. There will be eternal fighting.

    1) ከኤ.ኤፍ፤ዲ ጀምሮ የአንድነት ኃይሉ ብዙ አስታሟቸዋል። በአጋር ብኔትም መድረክ የሚል ስብስብ ተፈጠሮ ያላቸውን ጥያቄ ለአምስተናገድ ተሞክሯል። ነገር ግን እነርሱ አንድ አላማ ነዉ ያላቸው። አሁን ያለቸው ኦሮሚያ፣ እንድትገነጠል፣ አሊያም በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ሆና ራሱን በትክክለኛ መንገድ የቻለን ፌዴራል ክልል እንድትሆን።

    2) እነርሱን ተለማመጡ ስትለኝ፣ ኦሮሞዉን የማይወክሉ ጥቂቶች ሆነው ብዙሃኑኑ ኦሮሞ እንደሚወልኩ እየቆጠርክ እንደሆነ አስብ። አብዛኛዉ ኦሮሞ የሚኖረዉ ዴንስሊ ፖፑላተድ በሆነው በሸዋ ነዉ። በኢሊባቡር፣ በከፋ (የጂማ አባ ጅፋር አገር).፣ በምስራቅ እና ሰሜን ወለጋ የሚኖረዉ ኦሮሞ በኢትዮጵያዊነቱ የሚኮራ ኦሮሞ ነዉ። በምእራብ ወለጋ በጀርመን ሚሲኒሪዎፕች አይምሯቸው የተበላሸ ጥቂቶ እና በደቡብ ምሳርቅ አርሲ/ባሌ/ሃራር ያለው እስላሙ ኦሮሞ ነዉ ችግር እየፈጠረ ያለዉ። ያም ደግሞ ከኦሮሞነት ጋር ግንኙነት የለዉም ..ዬስልምና አክራሪነት ችግር ነዉ (በደኖ፣ አርባ ጉጉ …አስታወስ)

    እንግዲህ ጥያቄ አለኝ ላነት ? አሁን ያለዉ ኦሮሚያ የምትባለው ኦነግ የፈጠራት ክልል እንድትቀጥል ትፈልጋለህ ? በናዝሬት፣ ቢሺፍቱ፣ መቱ ፣ ጎሬ ….የሚኖሩ ኦሮሞ የማይባሉ በአገራቸው እንደ እንግዳ እንዲታይ ትፈልጋለህ ? አስታወስ ኦሮሞያ የኦሮሞዎ ናቸው በኦሮሚያ ሕገ መንስግት መሰረት። እነ ጃዋር፣ ለንጮዎች ..ይሄንን ነዉ የሚፈልጉት።

    አንተ እነሲህ ሰዎች ቻሏቸው ስትለንም ይሄን ከወያኔ የባሰ ፖለቲካቸውን ተቀበሉ እያልከን ነዉ:: አንተ እንደ ትልቅ ያቀረብከው ጃዋር «መጀመሪያ ኦሮሞ ነኝ» ማለቱ አይደለም በሰዉ ዘንድ ወገዛ ያመጣበት። ከተናገራቸው ፣ በቪዲዮ ይፋ ከሆኑት አባባሎቹ ጥቂቶችኑን ልጠቀስልህ ፡

    እንግዲ ወንድም ተክሌ ይሄንን ነዉ ታገሱ የምትለን ? አንተ ድንገት ጎጃሜ ወይም ጎንደሬ ትሆናለህ ….የዚህ አይነቱ ማስፈራራት የማይመለከትህ …ግን ወንድሜ ብዙዎች በነጃዋር አይነቶቹ አልቀዋል። ተገድለዋል። ይህ አይነቱን የጥላቻና ዘረኛ ፖለቲካ መዋጋት ነዉ እንጂ ያለበህ ማስታመም የለብህም።

  4. Wow! This is excellent analysis and observation. We all have eyes but we don’t have equal ability to see things. Teklemichael, you are amazing. Because no one can convince Oromo nationalists more than Jawar about the difficulty of working with the unity camp because he was there with them for the last five and years. From what I know Ahmara is highly reserved and careful about sensitive things. But it is a real shock to listen to what some self-appointed Amhara leaders like Tekle Yishaw, Abebe Belew of Hiber radio, and Henock Demisse say about the Oromo people and history. We should learn to live with the new reality. Moderate parties like G-7 should be supported. We have to get rid of the myth that we are more Ethiopians than others. Ir doesn’t get us anywhere.

    Tekle haymanot Abebe seemed to me a Narcissistic. He seemed to be suffered with personality disorder. He tried all and everything like Jawar Mohammed. He became Eritrean advocate (he called Eritreans His heroes and Ethiopians defeatists and cowards- you can hear his audio that he argued with the Ethiopia Yenesew Gebre radio producer when the producer called the Eritrean lead by Isyas Afewerki “killers or Achberabariwoch”. Teklehaimanot Abebe furiously got upset and warn the good Ethiopian patriot who defend his country and exposed the Eritrean criminals with anger “better not call them ACHBERBARIWIOCH! they are Heroes!”

    Tekelehaymanot Abebe told us he does not know his Goassa where his parents are born from- so he perhaps assigned himself with the Oromo Borona or some other secessionist ethnic groups such as OLF. And harbored hate against Amhara and Amhara name. Because of it- he preached Ethiopians not to accept any person having Amharic name to political group or government power positions. Here he said “political leaders or government leaders must be from ethnic names that have Hagos, Gemechu, Merera, Megersa, Berhe..not any more person/s with any Amhara name”.

    Because he hate the name Ethiopia and its flag and the name Amhara;- he devalue the EThiopian falg and asserted he has the right to burn it with fire. He argued it is a cherk (if he burn it ‘it is consider to him as Cherk’. so is not a big insult to him and Meles Zenawi if burned or called Cherk), So what if burned?! we are not in Ethiopia, we are in America/Canada where we can not face huge opposition if we burn the flag in Ethiopia!” It is Democracy! who cares if the flag!”

    የሰሞኑ የነ ጃዋር ሲራጅ ግርግር ለኛም ስም አትርፏል፡፡ እንደፈቀደው ይሁን፡፡ እኛ ጉዳያችን ሞልቶልናል፡፡ የታቀደው የቴዲ ኮንሰርት በመሰረዙ በጣም ደስተኞች ነን፡፡ በኮንሰርቱ ታክኮ ሊከሰት የሚችለው የህዝብ መተላለቅ በመቅረቱ እሰየው ነው፡፡ ብርና ዝና ብቻ እያሰቡ የህዝብ መጨራረስን ሊጋብዙ የነበሩ ሰዎች ተንኮላቸው ስለከሸፈባቸው አላህን በጣም ነው የምናመሰግነው፡፡

    የግርግሩ ዋና አቀናባሪ ማን እንደሆነ አላውቅም፡፡ እንደ ቃል አቀባይ ሆኖ ሲያገለግል የነበረው ግን ጀዋር መሐመድ ነው፡፡ ጀዋር በቅድሚያ ስለጉዳዩ በኔ ኢንቦክስ ሲነግረኝ “የእንቁ መጽሔት ባለቤቶች ጎል ሊያስገቡን የውሸት ሽፋን በፎቶሾፕ ሰርተው በትነዋል” ነው ያለኝ፡፡ እናም “ይህንን መጽሔት መበቀል አለብን” በማለት ሊቀሰቅሰኝ ሞከረ፡፡ “እንቁ ማለት የማይታወቅ መጽሔት ነው፤ ነገሩን ባናጋግለው ይሻላል” አልኩት፡፡ እርሱ ግን “አይደለም! በጣም ግዙፍ የሆኑ ነፍጠኞች ናቸው በገንዘብ የሚደጉሙት” ብሎ ሊያነሳሳኝ ሞከረ፡፡ እኔ በበኩሌ የሰውዬው አጉል ብልጠት ስለሚደብረኝ ግድ አልሰጠሁትም (እርሱ የሚያወራውን ነገር ሁልጊዜ በጥርጣሬ ነው የማየው)፡፡ ከዚያ በኋላ እርሱን ላለመገናኘት ስሸሸው ቆየሁ፡፡ በዚህ መሀል ቴዲ ሰጠ ስለተባለው ቃለ-ምልልስ ሐቁን ለማወቅ ጥረት አድርጌ ነበር፡፡ እናም ውሸት መሆኑን አረጋገጥኩ፡፡
    ታህሳስ 14/2006 ከጀዋር ጋር በሌላ ጉዳይ ስንገናኝ ግን ቀደም ሲል ውሸት ነው ሲለው የነበረውን ነገር “እውነት ነው! የኦዲዮ ማስረጃ ጭምር አለን፤ የመጽሔቱ አዘጋጅ ማረጋገጫ ሰጥቶኛል” የሚል ማሻሻያ ሰጥቶት ከርሱ ጋር እንድሳተፍበት ይጨቀጭቀኝ ጀመር፡፡ ነገሩ ውሸት ነው ሳልለው “ይህንን ነገር ከማጋጋል መቆጠቡ ይመረጣል” ብዬ ላቀዘቅዝ ሞከርኩ፡፡ እርሱ ግን “እምቢ! ቴዲን አፈር አባቱን ሳናበላው አንተወውም፤ አንተ ደስ ካለህ እንደ ፈለግክ ሁን” እያለ ይፎክርብኝ ገባ፡፡ ለፉከራው ግድ ባይኖረኝም ለራሱ ዝና ሲል ከቅርብ ጊዜ ወዲህ በኦሮሞ ወጣቶች ዘንድ ያገኘውን ተቀባይነት በመጠቀም ስለሜንጫው የፎከረውን ቃል ተግባራዊ ሊያደርግ ይችላል ብዬ ፈራሁ፡፡ እና የርሱን እንቅስቃሴ የሚያኮላሽ እርምጃ መውሰድ አለብኝ በማለት ወሰንኩኝ (በወቅቱ እኔም እንደርሱ በቢራ የምንቦጫረቅ መስሎት “በደሌ መጠጣት አቁም” ሲለኝ ለጥቂት ነበር ከመሳደብ ራሴን የተቆጣጠርኩት!)፡፡

    ይህ ሰው በጣም አጭበርባሪ ነው፡፡ የውሸት ወሬ መፈብረክ ይችልበታል፡፡ ደግነቱ የሚፈበርካቸውን ወሬዎች ሀሠትነት ለማረጋገጥ ረጅም ጊዜ አይፈጅም፡፡ የዚህ ሰው ሌላኛው ባህሪ ደግሞ ለሁሉም የፖለቲካ ቡድኖችና ፓርቲዎች የሚሰራ መሆኑ ነው፡፡ ሰውዬው ከላይ ሲታይ የኢትዮጵያ መንግሥት ተቃዋሚ ይመስላል፡፡ ሆኖም አብዛኛው ሰው እንደሚያውቀው ከኦፒዲኦ ከፍተኛ ባለስልጣናት ጋርም የጠበቀ ግንኙነት አለው፡፡ አንድ ቀን ሳያስበው ይህንን ግንኙነቱን ግልጽ ያደረገበትን ጥያቄ ጠየቀኝ፡፡ እኔ በሰጠሁት ምላሽ ሳስደነግጠው ትንሽ እንደማፈር ብሎ ዘጋው (በወቅቱ የጠየቀኝን ጥያቄ ሌላ ጊዜ ብነግራችሁ ይሻላል)፡፡ በርሱ ቤት ነገሩን የማላውቅ መስሎታል፡፡ ይሁንና በፌስቡክም ጭምር በሰፊው ሲባል የነበረ ነገር በመሆኑ ብዙም አልደነቀኝም፡፡
    በሌላ በኩል ደግሞ ይህ ሰው ከኦነግ-ቀመስ ቡድኖችም ጋር በትክክል እንደሚሰራ መረጃው አለን፡፡ ከሻዕቢያ ጋር እንደሚሰራም ውስጥ ውስጡን ይወራል፡፡ እነዚህ ግንኙነቶቹ ቀደም ብዬ የሰማኋቸው በመሆኑ ብዙም አላስገረሙኝም፡፡ በጣም የተደነቅኩት ግን “ነፍጠኛ” እያለ ቀን ከሌሊት ከሚሰድባቸው ቡድኖችም ጋር የሚሰራ መሆኑን እራሱ በነገረኝ ጊዜ ነው፡፡ የዚያን ቀን በጣም ነበር የደነገጥኩት (ዕለቱ ህዳር 7/2006 ነው)፡፡ “ይህ ሰው ጥቅም ካገኘ ለሰይጣንም ይሰራል ማለት ነው ለካ!” በማለት ተደመምኩበት፡፡ ከዚያን ጊዜ ጀምሮ ከዚህ ሰው ጋር የማደርገውን የመልዕክት ግንኙነት ገታ ማድረግ ጀመርኩ (እንግዲህ ለዚህ ሁሉ ማስረጃው በእጄ ነው ያለው)፡፡
    ሰውዬው ከነዚህ ሁሉ ቡድኖች ጋር የሚሰራበት ዓላማ ገንዘብና ዝና ማግኘት ይመስለኛል፡፡ በየሀገሩ እየዞረ ብር እንደሚለቅምም ይታወቃል፡፡ እኔ በበኩሌ በግርግሩና በጉዞው ብር ቢያገኝበት ጉዳይ የለኝም፡፡ ብር አገኝበታለሁ ብሎ የማይገባ ድራማ ሲጫወት ግን ዝም ብዬ ላልፈው አልፈቀድኩም፡፡ የጸረ-በደሌውን ዘመቻ በጎን በኩል የተጋፈጥኩት በዚሁ ምክንያት ነው፡፡ አስቡት እስቲ! የቴዲ አፍሮን ኮንሰርት ለመታደም ድሬዳዋ ስቴድየም በተገኘው ህዝብና እርሱን በሚቃወመው ህዝብ መካከል ግጭት ቢፈጠር ውጤቱ ምን ሊሆን ነው? በዚያ ውጤትስ ተጠቃሚ የሚሆነው ማን ነው? አማራው ነው? ኦሮሞው ነው? ወይንስ ማን ነው? እስኪ እናንተው መልሱት፡፡ … የጃዋር የፖለቲካ ተንታኝነት ይህ ነው እንግዲህ!…(እንኳንም ኮንሰርቱ ቀረ! እሰይ!)
    ከዚህ ሰው ጋር የተዋወቅኩት በኢንተርኔት ነው፡፡ የምጽፋቸውን ጽሑፎች በዌብሳይቱ ለመጠቀም በፈለገበት ጊዜ ሲያነጋግረኝ ነው ያወቅኩት፡፡ ከዚያ ውጪ ሌላ ትውውቅ የለንም፡፡ ለአንድም ቀን አይቼው አላውቅም፡፡ እኔ የጻፍኳቸውን ጽሑፎች ከኔ የፌስቡክ ፔጅ ላይ እየወሰደ ዌብሳይቱ ላይ ይለጥፋል፡፡ በቃ ይኸው ነው፡፡ ባለፈው ክረምት ደግሞ “ያንተን መጽሐፍ እናሳትማለን” የሚል ቃል ሰጠኝ፡፡ በጥቅምት ወር መጨረሻ ገደማ ግን የመጽሐፉ ጉዳይ ቀረና መጽሔት እንጀምራለን ብሎ መጣ፡፡ የመጽሐፉ ጉዳይ መቅረቱ ሆዴን እየበላኝ ብቸገርም እስቲ ትንሽ ልመርምረው ብዬ አብሬው ሰነበትኩ፡፡ ይሁንና ከህዳር ወር 10/2006 ወዲህ የመጽሔቱም ነገር የውሃ ሽታ ሆኖ ቀረ፡፡ (የማያደርገውን ነገር በስሜት የሚያወራው እንዲህ ዓይነቱ ቀጣፊ ሰው በድሬዳዋ ልጆች ቋንቋ “ሐጂ ቅደደው” ወይንም “ሐጂ ቦንባ” ነው የሚባለው)፡፡

    የሆነ ሆኖ የአሁኑ ግርግር ከዚህ ጉዳይ ጋር አይገናኝም፡፡ መጽሔት እናዘጋጃለን ብዬ የለፋሁበትን ድካም መና ስላስቀረብኝ ቂም ቋጥሬ አይደለም ልጋፈጠው የወሰንኩት፡፡ እርሱ ያመጣው ሎጂክ እጅግ አደገኛና ህዝቦችን የሚያጨራርስ በመሆኑ ነው ዝም ማለቱን ትቼ በቀጥታ የገባሁበት (መጽሔቱን በራሴ ወጪ ይፋ አደርገዋለሁ)፡፡

  20. It is a good analysis. However, the Oromo nationalists or tribalists complaint against the Amhara people is unjustified. The Somalis gave the Oromos the name “Gala” during the Oromo migration because of the cruelty they demonstrated against others during the migration and their unique worship of idols (big trees, rivers, animals etc…). Oromo nationalists have been trying to build Oromo nationalism based on hating and mutilating Amharas. This appears to have succeeded so far because of the weakness of the pro Ethiopian opposition camp. However, it will not last long once common sense prevails over hatemongering. In a nutshell, Oromos need to stop blaming the Amharas for the name “Gala,” they should rather place their blame on where it belongs. The Arsi, Guji, Bale etc… Oromos need to stop mutilating the private body part of Male Ethiopians; they don’t have mercy even for other Oromo clans, like the Welegas etc… “Gala” did not necessarily refer to all Oromos during the old times as it connotes only cruelty and backwardness. Shewan and Welega oromos, the closest to Amhara, were never referred as “Gala” historically. BTW, an Amhara could also be a “Gala” during those old times if he adopted the culture of mutiliating private body parts and/or worships idols, such as big trees, rivers etc… In the new Ethiopia we are trying to create, there is no place for such name calling. Everybody will be free to live the culture they choose within the framework of the rule of law in a very liberal Ethiopia. If Oromos want to separate from the rest of Ethiopia democratically, they can do so freely in a democratic process. In an independent Oromia, my primary fear is that the Shewan Oromos will be decimated first for allying with the Amharas in re-uniting the disintegrated Ethiopia. My secondary fear is that all the non-oromo nationalities will be exterminated like they did in Bedena in 1991 and during the Oromo migration. My tertiary fear is that the Welegas will assume all political power as they did during the weyane-olf transitional government and marginalize other oromos. The welegas claim to be the most “educated” and they despise the other Oromos so much; their only reasoning is that they have apprenticed with the ferenj Christian missionaries.

      ደግሞ “ኢትዮጵያን ጠቅልለን የመግዛት ፍላጎት የለንም” ይላሉ። በዚህ መካከል “የደቡብ ኢትዮጵያ” አሳብ
      ብቅ ይላል። የኦሮሞ ህዝብ ከደቡብ እና ከምእራብ ህዝቦች ጋር ተመሳሳይ የጭቆና ታሪክ አለው። ኢትዮጵያ
      የሚለው ስም “ጠይም” ወይም “ጥቁር” ማለት ከሆነ ደግሞ ቃሉ ለኦሮሞና ለደቡቦች ይቀርባል። ስለዚህ ከደቡብ ብሄረሰቦች፣ ከኦጋዴኖች፣ ከወሎ፣ ከሃረሪዎች፣ ከቤኒሻንጉልና ጋምቤላ ጋር ግንባር በመፍጠር፣ ዋና ከተማቸውን “ፊንፊኔ” በማድረግ “ደቡብ ኢትዮጵያ” የተባለች አገር መመስረት እንደሚችሉ ይናገራሉ። ይህ አሳብ ከእነ ሌንጮ ለታ አዲስ እንቅስቃሴ ጋር ይቀራረባል።!
      ***ሶስተኛው ግንባር “የአንድነት ሃይሎች” በአብዛኛው የአማራዎች ሲሆን፣ ከተለያዩ ብሄር ብሄረሰቦች ተቀላቅለው የተወለዱትን፣ ማለትም “ኢትዮጵያዊ” መባሉን ብቻ የሚመርጡትንም ጨምሮ ያቀፈ ነው። አማራ ያልሆኑ እንደ ቡልቻ ደመቅሳ፣ ነጋሶ ጊዳዳ፣ ሃይሉ አርአያ እና በየነ ጴጥሮስ ያሉ የፖለቲካ ሰዎች የሚመሯቸው ድርጅቶችም ከአንድነት ሃይሎች ማእቀፍ ውስጥ ይካተታሉ። መረራ ጉዲና ትክክለኛው አቋሙ በግልፅ አይታወቅም። ከሁለቱም ተቃራኒ ሃይሎች ጋር ተግባብቶ ዘልቆአል። የአንድነት ሃይሎች “የኢትዮጵያን የቀድሞ የግዛት ክልልና አደረጃጀት እንደነበረ አስጠብቀን፣ አማርኛ የመግባቢያ ብሄራዊ ቋንቋችን ሆኖ፣ ኢትዮጵያውያን ተብለን በጋራ መኖር እንችላለን” ይላሉ። በጥቅሉ ሲታይ የቀድሞው ቅንጅት እና ኢህአፓ የዚህ አመለካከት ዋነኛ ባለቤት ሊባሉ ይችላሉ።

  24. Again, your analysis has many meritorious points. However, your characterization of the reason for the return of the Lenchos to Weyanes’s folding is completely false. Even if I agree that the pro-Ethiopian opposition is in disarray and is disorganized, the return of the Lenchos to Ethiopia is a clear indication of the complete failure of the OLF politics and its destruction and final burial. The Jawar’s and Lencho’s cannot be expected to join the pro Ethiopian camp because of their bitter hatred against other nationalities, particularly against the Amharas. So, it is a futile attempt to bring theses folks to the mainstream opposition camp as their political philosophy was born of hatred and revenge against innocent civilians. This philosophy has failed them time and again, and they are now fully surrendering to Weyane.

    For the pro-Ethiopian camp, the best strategy is to strengthen its base and constituency and be determined to stand for what it believes. That belief should be free from chauvinism, tribalism, parochialism, narrow nationalism, hate etc… if it has to succeed. All rights should be based on citizenship, not ethnicity. If and when that happens, the primary losers will be Weyanes and OLFites because these folks only thrive in tensions and divisions while all the rest of Ethiopians will be the winners. Therefore, the pro Ethiopian opposition forces should unite around the idea of making “citizenship” as the basis of all rights instead of trying to lure the OLFites and narrow nationalists to their side. The tribalists will naturally die out with the democratization of the country. If we are not able to build a genuine and all embracing democratic order, the narrow nationalists can destroy Ethiopia for good. Some of the Amhara elites should reform themselves and must stop the “my way or no way” politics if there is any such thing. What we need is a democratic order that works for all Ethiopian people based on citizenship.

    A highly controversial far right fundamentalists Amhara organisation advocating to reclaim its lost hegemony officially declares war on the largest Ethiopia’s Oromo Ethnic nationals, on January 24, 2014 in its officially dispatched press statement in Amharic. Known under its Amharic name ‘Moresh Wogene Amhara Dirjit’ dispatched its unpalatable, unbalanced, uncivilised and potentially venomous propagandas against the Oromo nationals –erroneously blaming them for causing death and destruction to others Ethiopian nations and nationalities; more essentially accusing them of attempting to destroy the concept of Ethiopianism created by Abyssinian king ‘Atse Menelik II’ who had colonised nations and nationalities of Ethiopia to create today’s Ethiopian Empire’s geo-political shape.

    Moresh group also claims that the Ethiopian empire is being built by the bloods of their ancestors, yet, they think that the bloods of colonised nations and nationalities are less relevant thus relegated.

    Conceived, crafted and being led by the historical grandchildren of those who have brutally crushed the Oromo, Sidama, Wolayta, Gedeo’s, Ogadenia, Kambatas and Hadiya, Shakacho and Kafficho and others nations and nationalities creating today’s Ethiopia; Moresh supporters strongly believe that they are the only ones who must rule their colonial subjects without being challenged. The language, culture, religion and ways of life imposed on the subjects by the colonial masters remain to this date visible in entire Ethiopia creating utter confusion on uneducated groups of people about their identities. When someone decides to stick to his/her root the claimants (Moresh groups) accuse such groups of educated subjects of being narrow minded renegade ethno-nationalists. Whoever raises the issues related with self-identity is automatically regarded as a threats to Ethiopia and Ethiopianism; by implication to those who ruled over others since their colonial expansion.

    Under the pre-1991 rules of the Amhara regimes, the languages of the subjects often remain subjugated and ridiculed. It has been also emphasised and re-emphasised that if the languages of Oromo/Sidama/Gedceo/Wolayta comes to Radio, (Moresh groups used to claim) that the languages of others, other than Amharic breaks Radio or TV and others more worst claims. Such attitudes and perceptions among such groups r to this date emain pervasive; and due to such deep seated beliefs and sustained propagandas of the rulers, the subjects were unwillingly driven to forget their own identities by considering the imposed culture, language, religion and ways of life as if it was theirs. Such is the way of life of subjugation and political paradigm the Moresh groups are claiming to be bring it back. Hooray!! Well come back Slavery!!

    Praising the groups of subjugated peoples who completely deny their identity was a common practice and such groups subjugated peoples have been even elevated to a higher authorities and given fake statuses and artificially created cosmetic respects to emphasise that those who deny who they are often respected as such. Changing names of the subjects to the rulers’ was also a commonly practiced phenomenon. On most occasions changing names was mandatory to go Scholl and earn employment during the pre-1974 revolution under the rules of Moresh’s current advocates, fathers and grandfathers. When the peoples of oppressed nations and nationalities raise these, Moresh groups often become extremely paranoid and act irrationally.

    The others who want to stick to their roots and proud of themselves are often regarded as uncivilised who worship Devil (indigenous cultural and religious beliefs and practices-sadly forgetting their own Debra belief cultures); therefore they must be completely changed. Aaftrtwards, these groups of people often forcefully baptised to accept an Orthodox Christianity from the inception of colonial expiation; as it was the case with European colonialism whose colonisers came up with triple ‘C’ (Christianity, Commerce and Civilisation); actually I add the forth ‘C’ which was the main reason for the colonial expansion of Europeans as well as Atse Menilik II’s regime which I call it a ‘Conquest’.

    Atse Meilik II’s conquering army used similar tactics, actions, also had similar ambition and drive for territorial expansion, exploitation, enslavement and ultimately had adopted similar subjugating techniques against the subjects. The Moresh groups in their press statement are telling the subjects that the subjects are still feeling inferior for the fact that the subjects don’t feel comfortable with the Status-Quo unless the nations and nationalities are effectively De-Colonised. I think they are correct!! If one thoroughly reads their yesterday’s press statement with eagle eyes and with the attention of elephant ears, one can see what I’m discussing about.

    Why are they huffing and puffing unnecessarily while the fact remains that they remain the primary culprits for ongoing tragedy unfolding in entire Ethiopian empire to this date? I’m not, however, exonerating the current diabolic TPLF regime that shows its excellently progressive constitution but dehumanises the peoples of nations and nationalities.

    Although the current TPLF led authoritarian regime isn’t different in its substances from its predecessors; however, theoretically it has in its constitution granted nations and nationalities rights to the level of self-determination not only exercising their cultures but also they are superficially able to use their languages as a learning and working medium despite the resistances of Moresh groups ever since it was introduced soon after 1992. Doing so obliged the Moresh groups to label TPLF led regime as pariah renegades. Therefore, Moresh groups accuse the regime of inciting violence and fuelling disagreements between the two Ethiopian largest ethnic nationals, the Oromo and Amhara; the reasons Moresh groups are beating war drum; boasting that they know how to fight against the Oromo and threaten that the worst yet to come, therefore, they claim that the unfortunate situation befalling an Oromo and others subjugated nations and nationalities will be much worse than it has ever been since the conquest. What a fantastic puff!!

    Moresh groups often puffed and huffed such claims for lengthy period of time since 1991 whenever their deep seated beliefs are effectively challenged, the Oromos currently are doing with others subjugated nations and nationalities. Oromo’s Qubbe generation is defying such deep rooted beliefs of the Moresh groups, it is therefore becoming formidable power, the former rulers don’t want to see and can’t tolerate. Thus, they are extremely becoming anxious and started acting irrationally to declare a kind of an official war against Oromo people who did nothing- but demanded their fundamental rights to be firstly respected and to be recognised as an equal stakeholders in their own land; and secondly tried to decipher the historical injustices imposed on their nation to logically challenge and categorically denounce and reject these. What is wrong here? Any logical and conceptual argument contrary to doing such?

    Adolf Hitler is unconditionally and continuously condemned for his barbarism to this date on daily, monthly and yearly basis. The victims of his heinous crimes against humanity are receiving compensation from the Germany government whose ancestors have caused such diabolic crimes. The Oromo whose ancestor were similarly brutalised didn’t ask for compensation from Moresh groups, yet decided to remember their victims by erecting memorial monument; does this cause the descendants of those criminals to officially declare war against the Oromo and others subjugated nations and nationalities who are logically and legally arguing the actions of such barbaric rulers shouldn’t be condoned?     The TPLF allowed you to snick your head out of the sand against Oromos. We have been nursing this for the last 22 years. While you were preparing to hijack Oromo politics, you were outsmarted and our maneuvered by Oromo activists. Now you are reduced to name calling. We know that your bravado on the internet has no basis. It does not take much for Oromos to galvanize because we have a cause that touches every nerve of every Oromo. You have no cause. The KKKs in USA still believe in white supremacy the same as Amhara Neftegenas and chauvinists still dream of their hey days. Those are gone.

The Amharas are shouting for the whole Ethiopian people not just like you as you call it Oromania for gallas only. You see the difference . We are thinking broadly and humainly. But, you are thinking narrowly like a Hyena. Where is your moral and ethics to respect other people who are very much leading the same kind of life like the oromos. How many times people are teaching you to think human being first not ethnics. Where is the level of your consciousness? Still at low level. Even now a days, after following a thorough training program the dogs graduate with certificate to accomplish a certain kind of jobs assigned to a particular dog. But, the oromo elites since 1974 you talk the same subject as a main agenda. Almost 40 years has passed with out even making the oromo land for the oromos tribes. Go and check who is doing business and who is on decisive power even in the oromo killil. Start to fight what happen in oromia right now rather than to talk a lot about the Amharas.     we are so proud of you! this is the reality on the ground!
    No Ethiopia without oromos. The oromos love their country and also love other people of Ethiopia.Some backward , racist and chauvinist Amhara elites try to frame Ethiopia without 40 million oromo people and some other 25 million people in the south ,east and west under the umbrella cover of Ethiopianism. You can imagine how absurd and odd is ,framing the country without its people.This is the extreme side of racism. For them raising historical facts of the past is the sign of backwardness. A civilized person wouldn’t negotiate over the fact and reality.The past is a lesson for the present where you can build on the positive achievements and disregard the mistakes by taking corrective measures.Some Amhara elites instead of learning from the past mistakes ,they even categorize others who raise past mistakes as animals and backwards! who is uncivilized? the one who denies the fact and reality ? or the one who admits the fact and reality ; learn from past mistakes and move forward for the better future?
    the oromos are very tolerant people and innocent people.They have been caring for Ethiopia, without Ethiopia caring for them.The oromos have been speaking others language ,without others even not interested to hear the oromo language.The oromos are very respectful for other people.When other people come to live in the oromiya ,they live in peace and harmony ,their identity being respected without others instead respecting the oromo culture and identity.All these innocence and tolerances are a sign of civilization. Innocence and foolishness are different !! The oromos are wise and innocent! If you ask a girl in Addis Ababa and ask whom she wants to marry it is not uncommon to hear positive responses of getting interested in oromo men. Why? Because the oromos are innocent and care for others.

    Some back ward groups took these innocence and tolerance as foolishness!! This is why the current generation like Jawar are strongly moving and demanding for give and take, and reciprocity which is natural.”I care for you if and only if you care me”

    But i am not saying the oromos are very special and unique people who are superior to the other people of Ethiopia. I am not undermining the rest people of Ethiopa. Of course I love all the people of Ethiopia!!! This is just to deliver some message to some few chauvinist and racist groups who label the oromo people as exceptionally cruel people ! oromos are loving people who cares a lot for the interests of others carrying all these burdens on their shoulder.However all these were taken as weakness , backwardness and foolishness.
    Now due to the pressure that is coming from extremist and racist chauvinist groups a slogan is some how changing towards ” I care for you if and only if you care for me ”
    The oromos care for Ethiopia , if Ethiopia cares for them! The oromos love to speak others language , if others love to speak their language! The oromos respect the identity of others ,if others respect the oromos’ identity.
    Reciprocity is natural in human relations! !!

    I like the saying of yours, “We need democratic order that works for all Ethiopian People based on citizenship.” When the Amara students said, “Land for the tiller” it was not meant for Amhara farmers only. The message was for all Ethiopian farmers including the Oromos. Who fought the Haile Selassie and Derg governments better than the Amharas? 70% of the half million students slaughtered by the Derg in the streets of Ethiopian cities were Amaras. We know who was working with the Derg against democracy and people’s government. We can name them but again in the interest of the nation harmony not necessary to do that. Why do we keep demonizing this great selfless people for 22 years? They demanded democracy in Ethiopia based on one-person vote. If anyone gets 51% of the votes, he/she will lead a government that works for every “citizen”, to borrow a word from Nahomi.

    Do not forget that If Ethiopia were not united, Oromos would have been divided and given to Somalia, Djibouti, Kenya, Sudan and Eritrea annexed by Britain, France and Italy. I cannot see how the so called Oromo nationalism exists nowadays. I have not seen any Oromos of Kenya trying to unite with the OLF and be part of the great “Oromia Empire.”. Please let us be objective and analytical in our discussion.
