የጃዋር ቃለምልልስ በፓልቷክ

ከያሬድ አይቼህ –

ጃዋር መሀመድ እንግዳ ሆኖ በፓልቷክ ዛሬ እሁድ ቀርቦ ነበር። ቃለ-ምልልሱን ከ1000 በላይ ሰዎች አዳምጠዉታል። ዋናዎቹ ጠያቂዎች የሲቪሊቲው አባ-መላ (አቶ ብርሃኑ እርገጤ) እና የቃሌው ማይጨው ነበሩ።

አባ-መላ ጃዋርን አጣብቂኝ ውስጥ ለማስገባት ሞከረ። አንዴ ኦህዴድ አባል ነበርክ አለው። ጃዋር “የማንም ድርጅት አባል ሆኜ አላቅም አለ”። አባ-መላ ጃዋርን የኦሮሞ አስገንጣይ አርጎ ለማቅረብ ሞከረ ፤ አልተሳካለትም። ጃዋር መጀመሪያ ኦሮሞ ፡ ቀጥሎ ኢትዮጵያዊ መሆኑን አስረግጦ አቀረበ።

ኦሮሞ እና አማራ ምሰሶዎች ናቸው የሚለው ንድፈ-ሃሳብ ሲቀርብ ጥሩ ንድፈ-ሀሳብ ሆኖ አግኝቼው ነበር። ሆኖም ግን ኦሮሞዎችን እንደ መሰላል ተጠቅሞ ፡ የኦሮሞዎችን ብሄራዊ ማንነት ሳይቀበል ፡ ዴሞክራሲያዊ ስርዓትን ለመፍጠር እንደማይቻል ግልጽ ይመስለኛል። አሁንም የኦሮሞ-አመራ ምሰሶነት ለአገራችን ነጻ መውጣት ብሩህ ተስፋ ብዬ አምናለሁ።

– ጥንድ-ምሰሶ –

የኦሮሞ-አማራ ጥንድ-ምሰሶነት ሃቅ ነው። በህዝብ ብዛት አንጻር ፡ በኢትዮጵያ መንግስት የ2004 ዓ.ም. መረጃ መሰረት ፡ የኦሮሚያ ህዝብ የኢትዮጵያ 36% ሲሆን ፡ የአማራ ክልል ህዝብ ብዛት የኢትዮጵያ 22% ነው። በድምሩ 58% ነው ፤ የሁለቱ ህዝቦች ምሰሶነት ከዚህ ጭብጥ የተነሳ ነው።

ምሰሶዎቹ በኢትዮጵያ ፓለቲካ ተወዳዳሪ የሌለው የፓለቲካ ሃይል የመሆን እምቅ ችሎታቸው ግልጽ ነው። ነገር ግን እንዴት ነው ሁለቱ ሊሂቃን ጎን-ለጎን በመቆም የኢትዮጵያ ምሰሶ የሚሆኑት? አባ-መላ እና ማይጨው በሚሉት መንገድ ሊሆን አይችልም ፤ የኦሮሞ ሊሂቃን ፡ እኛ አማራዎች በቀረጽነው ኢትዮጵያዊነት ውስጥ እንዲካተቱ ማደርግ አይቻልም።

– ኦሮሚያ –

አንዱ በተደጋጋሚ ጠያቂዎቹ ጃዋርን ለማጥቃት የሞከሩበት መንገድ “ኦሮሚያ ሚባል አገር የለም” በማለት ነው። ለመሆኑ ወፍ ዘራሽ የሆነ አገር አለ እንዴ? ሁሉም አገር ሰው ሰራሽ እኮ ነው። አሜሪካ የዛሬ 400 አመት አልነበረም ፤ አሁን ግን አለ። ኤርትራ የዛሬ 20 ዓመት በፊት አልነበረችም ፤ አሁን ግን አለች።

ተጨማሪ ያንብቡ:  የኢትዮጵያ ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር የኖቤል የሰላም ሽልማትን ያጽድቁ ወይም ይሻሩ

ኦሮሚያም አለች። ባለፉት 22 ዓመታት የኦሮሞ ህዝብ ስነልቦና በኦሮሚያዊነት ተጠግኗል ፡ ተቀርጿል ፡ ተደራጅቷል። የቁቤ ትዉልድም ወደ ሃላፊነት ተረካቢነት እየገሰገሰ ነው። የቁቤ ትውልድ የሚያቀው ኦሮሚያን ብቻ ነው ፤ ‘እምዬ ኢትዮጵያን’ አያቅም።

ይሄንን ጭብጥ አባ-መላ እና መሰል ወገኖቻችን ይክዳሉ። ነገር ግን የኦሮሞ-አማራ ሊሂቃን በህብረት መስራት ሚችሉት የአማራ ሊሂቃን የኦሮሞን ኦሮሚያዊነት ሲቀበሉና ሲያከብሩ ብቻ ነው። “መጀመሪያ ኦሮሞ ነኝ ፡ ቀጥሎ ኢትዮጵያዊ” የሚለውን ማንነት የማይቀበሉ የአማራ ሊሂቃን የኢህአዴግ እድሜ አስረዛሚዎች ናቸው።

የኢህአዴግ አምባገነናዊ ስርዓት ህዝባችንን በሙስና ፡ በኑሮ ውድነት ቸነፈር ፡ በፍትህ መጥፋት ፡ በሰብአዊ መብት ጥሰት ፡ በፓለቲካ እስረኝነት እና በሃይማኖት መብት ጥሰት በሚያንገላታበት በአሁኑ ጊዜ ፡ የኦሮሞዎችን ኦሮሚያዊነት አልቀበልም ማለቱ አርቆ አለማሰብ ነው።

– አማራዎች ምን እናድርግ? –

አማራዎች ራሳችንን እናስቀድም። አማራዎች በቅድሚያ ለአማራ ህዝብ መብት እንቁም። ያንን ለማድረግ የምንችለው ከኦሮሞ ወገናችን ጋር ጥንድ-ምሰሶ በመሆን እንጂ የኦሮሞን ሊሂቃን ማንነት በመናቅ አይደለም።

የኦሮሞን ማንነት ካልተቀበልን ፡ የቀድሞ ገዢዎቻችን በኤርትራ ላይ የፈጸሙትን አይነት የስትራቴጂ ስህተት እንደግማለን። የአጼ ሃይለስላሴ መንግስት ኤርትራን በኮንፌደሬሽን ከኢትዮጵያ ጋር አዋህዶ ቢሆን ኖሮ የኤርትራ ህዝብ አሁን ባለበት ስቃይ ውስጥ አይገባም ነበር ፤ የብዙዎችም ህይወት በከንቱ አይጠፋም ነበር።

የአማራ ሊሂቃን እንንቃ!! ኤርትራ ጥቂት ሚሊዮን ህዝብ ብቻ የያዘ ነው ፤ ኦሮሚያ ግን ትልቅ ነው። አቅማችንን አውቀን ከኦሮሞ ሊሂቃን ጋር በመከባበር ፡ በመቀባበል እና በጋራ ጥቅም ላይ ባተኮረ ስትራቴጂ አሁን በላያችን ላይ የተንፈራጠጠውንና የበሰበሰውን የህወሃት መንግስት በቀላሉ ማንበርከክ እንችላለን።

ህወሃት በተንገዳገደበትና በበሰበሰበት በዚህ ወቅት አዲስ አስተሳሰብና አዲስ እይታ በመያዝ ለኢትዮጵያውያን ነጻነት እንታገል። የኦሮሞና-አማራ ሊሂቃን በዚህ መልክ በመስራት ወደ ድል እንገስግስ።

  4. This guy must be a mad man! Oromoia may exist in your mind but not in ours. Look, Oromos are everywhere in Ethiopia. What we are saying is there is no special place in today’s Ethiopia carved for the Oromos only. Where oromos live, there are also Amaras. The idea of this die-hard oromos like Jawar is to oppress these Amaras living in these places by imposing their will. The Amars in the south and east including Harar have been since we know. The Jawars want to displace these people. They have started earlier by killing many innocent people in Bedeno and Arba Gugu. There are many Oromos in Wello. They are still there living together with the Amaras. They have never complained. In the last 21 years, the most oopressed tribe was in fact the Amaras. They have faced all sorts of oppression from all other tribes, even from the Sidamas. We cannot understand why the Oromos are crying foul after killing many and forced many other out of their fathersland. These Oromo people were once guests of Amaras. History says that they came from Madagascar. So, who are they to claim that land as their own. As to the majority issue, you crazy man, as usual you are referring to the census made by Meles and try to reduce the population of Amara. As far as I know the difference between Amara and Oromo in Ethiopia during that time was only in thausands or a million in favor of Amara. How come that gap has been created now (36% vs. 22%). The truth is that many Amara people In Oromia and eslewhere are forced to change their tribe to avoid mistreatement. Hence, unless thee is an independent census, we cannot accept that magic number of yours or Meles’s blessing.

    Finally Mr. Carzy man, please stop preaching in the name of Amara. I have never seen an Oromo or Tigre trying to convience the Oromos or Tigres to accept the reality on the gournd. Rather, they are all on the offensive. I cannot understand why you are telling us to accept what is not in our blood. You were an EPRDF supporter and you may have a special motive. But we are now aware of that motive, and whatever you have tried, we will never retreat from saying a spade is a spade (Jawar is a traitor). Our stand now is “An Eye for an Eye”.

    • There is a well defined Oromo boundary. Before Minilik II invaded Oromia oromos had no mix with Habeshas. We claim that this land is Oromia. But it doesnot mean that other ethnicities are forced to leave. Germany belongs to Germans but Italians or others can live in Germany. Britain belongs to British people but others can live there. Like that Oromia belongs nto Oromia

    Weyanes have tried to pull all sorts of political cards and tricks to wedge a difference and incite a conflict among ethiopian people. They tried ethnicity, Religion, profession, wealth difference, and even gender to cleave the people so that ethiopians could not arise together against them.

I want my right to be respected in that order. And only identifying ourselves in this order can we build a strong mixed society and a united country with diverse ethnicity.   10. I think Yared Ayicheh is Tesfay Gebre-ab. The analysis he gave last time about Melse/EPDRF strength vs Weakness of the opposition, his stand about Ethiopia, Amhara and Oromia are that of Tesfay Gebre-ab. He talks about the two pillar but he actually wants an Oromo pillar. He warns the Amhara not to repeat mistake.
    Actually Ethiopia needs more pillars…without the Tigrians and a modest suport of the other regions, Ethiopia connot be stable in any way. It is recalled that Derg especially towards the end have largest no. of Oromo generals and Military instead of the perceived Amhara. So Ethiopia is very big and needs more than two pillars. Shabyia needs to know this.

    Most educate oromo know what Kinjit and Naga did in 200 till 2005 in the killing of young oromo students (purposely targeting together with TPLF).

What do you expect from these people, the former is simple entertianer political comedian and the other is die hard Person from urban Oromia of Agaro, Jimma area. Look for yourself where are the Amara found in the Oromia region. Ask where in Oromia, and you will notice that most Amara settled in the cities. One asks why mostly in cities or urabn area and not in the rural areas? Answer, Amara went to Oromia mostly in the reign of Haileselasie in the 50’s and 60’s. Then one ask clearly why the Amaras failed to penetrate the farming areas. Clearly the Amaras are recent settlers of immigrant. compare this with the Oromos of Tigrai or Wollo or Gondar. These oromos are farmers, city or uran dwellers and officers and have almost assimilated with Amras. Well, one reason is because they ave been there for long and have been conquerers but at the same time have done a good job of assimilation. One can argue the Amaras forced the Oromos to assimilate which is true but mostly I argue the assimilation is a result of long existence of the Oromo settlers or immigrants in the North which also was accompanied by the increase in tendency to assimilate and marry. However, the christian showa oromos as well as Shewa Amaras who settled there are restricted to the urban areas showing their short time for Assimilation and also rigidity to assimilate.
    Thus, it is clear that the Amaras are real colonizers as they retained their cultural identity without integrating with other cultures. In Gondar Oromos used to marry with the local Amaras. Clearly, Oromos can claim more Ethiopianness in terms of blood. But blood does not gurantee unity. Eritrea and Tigrai are one in blood and even Amara or Gurages. But Guragees feel more in tune with south than with Amaras, etc. The point is unity does not come from similar culture or even DNA. Mostly, the identity of the people that came with past legacies is a critical factor. Such factors include the effect of colonialist Europeans by divide and rule pitting one group over the other. Hence, given all these conditions, Oromos can claim as much as any other group to be Ethiopia, Even the South is remotely Ethiopian than Oromia but the southern people have no solidified unity and hence choose always to go along with the flow the political ebb. So, Oromos can not be question on their Ethiopiannes. Amras on the other hand can be questioned on their Ethiopianess as they repeatedly showed themselves unable to integrate and adapt with the locals.

    So, what is the solution. the best thing is not to divide our people into Oromo or Amhara. We need to divide it into South and North. That will bring peace and instead of federalism we should think about confederation. That will bring us lasting peace. One time I argued in a paltalk room with one of its admins. The room is moresh. I posed the question, Amaras should declare their own state. I got a response from the admin, he bragged :Ethiopia is an Amara state”. It is a true description as we are all Amara in the eyes of Moresh people and the wider Amara. for Amaras the identity of Oromo or Somali is anthema to the cultural identity of the Amara state called Ethiopia. By the way Ethiopia did not exist for eternity like Isreal or Egypt. It is a recent invention of Menelik II as opposed to the preaching by Amara state dreamers that Ethiopia is a biblical state since time immemorial. Even Isreal has expanded and contracted. So did Ethiopia. So, it is a mistake to assume that Ethiopia state will never change. It will. It is just a matter of time. History repeats itself if we do not care.

What do you make of their racist remarks that “the Oromos exist just to multiply?” What will the Oromos feel when they hear such an attack on their identity? The Amhara elites must understand that what they have been doing is to isolate the Oromo people and drive them away from anything that is associated with Ethiopia. No amount of demonising of the OLF and the Oromo people will diminish or hinder Oromos legitimate demand for their own state. How the hell on earth would the Oromos think of living with racist people like you who have no respect for themselves and for others. That pot bellied boy called “Aba Mela” he has proven in his shifty character to jump here and there to attract attention from his Neftegna cohorts by whom he had been attacked for supporting TPLF regime. His latest attack against the Oromo people is his gift to his Neftegna brothers as a remedy for his past association with the Woyane regime. Oromos have learned one thing abundantly clear: that Oromos have no choice but rally behind their vanguard and much loved OLF to liberate their country and establish an Independent Republic Of Oromiya. The future favors the Oromos quest for independence and no amount of Neftegna poisonous remarks and resistance will stop the birth of the Independent Republic of Oromia from becoming a reality.
