It’s true Amhara had the upper hand for many years and includes a lot of Muslims and there is big no oromos who’re niether Christian or Muslim. This is not about religion. Obviously all political groups have been seen taking sides of the wrongs just because it gave them support against the current ruller. I’m sure they all have some thing they agree on Try to leave the selfishness & work together. Meet half way.
First of all he did NOT answer the question. when he asked him if he is Ethiopian, what he said was I will show you my passport? what is that mean? He believes he is NOT Ethiopian. As a matter of fact he said “Ethiopia out of Oromia” He is a very narrow minded person.
Second: NO one got upset because he said he is Oromo, We got upset because he said he was forced to be Ethiopian. We got upset because he said Ethiopia out of Oromia. He doesn’t know what he is talking about.
Third – He said Ethiopia has changed like a good thing. Changed in what way? Now, there is a new group formed called Oromo First. To do what? Oromo first and every body else is second? or what? Oromo is NOT a country it is an ethnic group so with out a country, there is NO ethnic group when he said Ethiopia out of Oromia, that just doesn’t make sense at all.

I never even once heard you saying that you are Ethiopian, though you were been asked several times, and I find it very pity and makes me wonder too what it is really really and truly hiding behind your “federalism”?? According to the interview, this guy talk a lot of sense. I think every one should try to see it putting on self in their shoes. However there are are contradictions within himself and disregards other small tribes who cannot stand by themselves. He doesnot appreciate the benefits of Oromo or other tribes because of Ethiopia being created. However there seems to be a room for negotiation.
