ከስፍራው የተገኘው መረጃ እንደሚጠቁመው ማህሌት ቆመው የነበሩት አባታኦች ከሰማይ የወረደውን መስቀል ድምጽ ድምፅ ሲሰሙ ካህናትና የቤተክርስቲያን አስተዳደሩ ከቤተመቅደስ ወጥተው ሁኔታውን ሲመለከቱት ብርሀን ከሰማይ እንደወረደና አከባቢውን በብርሀን እንደሞላው ተመልክተዋል ተብሏል። መስቀሉ የጌታ ስቅለት ያለበት ነውም ተብሏል።
በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ሕዝቡ ጉዳዩን በጥርጣሬ በማየት እየተነጋገረበት ሲሆን ለማመን የተቸገሩ ሰዎች እንዳሉ ሁሉ የመስቀሉን መውረድ የሚያምኑ ሰዎችም ቁጥራቸው አናሳ አይደለም።
